Yh ngl. I love Jimin, BTS is my one and only ult group, really the only group I really stan, but even I can admit that the accusations are so stupid. Like, it's literally KNOWN that Taemin is one of Jimin's biggest inspirations, so it's not surprising that you can see that in Jimin's work. He's his idol. And I really hate when these so-called "fans" create problems between two artists that are known to be close. They're are so selfishness and obsessive that they don't realize the things they say and do could taint really solid friendships between idols. It's so sickening and annoying.
@@kpopme7327I think what the comment meant was that Taemin had popularized/perfected the concept and style of being feminine, sensual, and sultry while still being powerful and masculine. He helped break stereotypes and gendernorms in the kpop industry for other idols who wanted to do the same. Everytime someone does a concept like this, people always think it's plagiarism when it isn't. Of course this doesn't mean Taemin can't plagiarize, but I doubt that Jimin and Taemin would appreciate their fans trying to pit them against each other for having similar styles. They are great artist, dancers, and friends.
@@yolomaster5000I won’t say he’s been necessarily feminine but he’s sensual and sultry without the over masculinization that most guys follow or do when trying to be you know…sexy. I only say this because Taemin has always been known as being very pretty for a guy and I think that a lot of people confuse his looks for his like…brand. I’m pretty sure that when he was younger he was bullied at school and some weird things happened to him because of him being regarded as pretty “for a boy” (I don’t have like proof where I can link but I remember swinging videos people talking about it).
@@ningmushii Oop, sorry for the confusion 😔 I meant more of like when he debuted solo with 'Move'. Although I do agree that he had the androgynous look since his debut in Shinee, I meant more of the way he danced. I know at the time he talked a lot about how he wanted the industry to be more accepting/used to male idols dancing the same way girl groups do. I know that in Shinee, Taemin was pressured to be more feminine to fit the concept that MHJ had I mind for him but Taemin wanted to be both masculine and feminine. A lot of fans credit him for bring about this change and a lot of idols look up to him because of it.
I honestly feel bad for Le sserafim because they're getting hate for the stupidest reasons. I honestly can't imagine what the girls are going through/thinking...
Lesserafim own fault. Instead of improving their vocals they are whining on a documentary. This is also not the first time they are accused of copying a song.
@@SamEricLlortlmao stfu its not lsfs fault people are toxic and unhinged asf and have miserable lives that constructive criticism was gone long ago and its been hate grow up

@@SamEricLlort Did you even watch the documentary? The clip of sakura crying is literally her at vocal lessons. Le Sserafim deserve criticism for their coachella performance but I fear yall don’t know the difference between hate and criticism. Someone crying shouldn’t evoke a feeling of hatred, have some empathy.
@yomarysanchez6263 last year, someone from my hometown did what suga did. Rode an escooter home after drinking and fell on the way. Except this guy wasnt so lucky, he died after hitting his head on the pavement. There's a reason why it's illegal.
@@jaytch6639 First of all, this video isn't about that incident Second of all, if he repents I don't think fans have the right to be all over him (not that they should be defending him either) People are allowed to make mistakes without receiving judgment from millions who don't even know them. Just let the justice system do its job and start complaining when it doesn't.
As a fearnot, I understand some criticism is needed for idols to improve, but jumping on every single thing that lesserafim does is utterly ridiculous. Can people just leave them alone?
And I feel the same about Felix. 2 days earlier, it was a CUP he had in a photo...a cup with the character HIS FRIEND plays. 2 days before that, it was something else. His clothing, his faith--there's no boundary these people won't cross.
First of all, Taemin literally gave birth to like the majority of soloists nowadays and they all worship the ground he walks on. Secondly, he and Jimin are great friends and respect each other a lot. And thirdly, a lot of these accusations are literally just conparing very generic shots of someone standing in a room or posing a certain way. This is so unserious. Why do some stans always have to try and clown on someones comeback. This happens literally every single time
Bro calm down he's not a god and no one worships him. U could have said he's a role model to many idols today or just call him a legend (which he is! ✨) 😊❤
11:20 I wouldn't be surprised if either Jimin or Taemin respond to the plagiarism accusations. They are very good friends and hung out during their free time in the past. It's moments like this where the fandom is an idols worst enemy. CHECK YOUR FACTS PEOPLE!!!!
Yeah they're part of a group of best friends, including other people like Kai from EXO, and Timoteo a former member of HOTSHOT. They've been close friends since before either of them debuted. I always get particularly annoyed when I see people going after Taemin for copying Jimin for this reason. Like if you are such a big fan wouldn't you know they're besties?! They did a collab stage years ago, and some of the comments were brutal. Really toxic. As though it were a competition, not a collaboration. People feeling the need to insult Taemin's appearance, say he was nowhere near as skilled as Jimin... But in just... The nastiest possible way. Even if they hadn't been friends for a long time, I don't understand the logic of attacking someone to uplift your faves. It makes no sense at all. They would likely be horrified by it. Having someone receiving hate and harassment in their name. But it's even worse when they've been friends since they were kids! It's wild.
Neither of them will reply because they're probably laughing about how stupid it is-- which it is. It was a fifteen second trailer with a beat. Besties are always all up in Taemin's business they may as well call themselves fans

Le Sserafim did their photo shoots for the Crazy comeback in March. Someone on Reddit pointed out trees had no leaves on them in the background of Sakura's photos..... and some of the styling ideas were already present in the Easy music video, which was filmed in January. The idea that they copied Aespa's Supernova comeback styling is totally ignorant.
idk why the article says supernova but shows pictures from spicy but if the timing is true aespa released that concept last year, idk if i agree with the plagiarism but maybe inspired i mean a lot of groups are coming out with the same concepts from being inspired by another group
It does not even look that similiar. That type of styling is just very popular Y2K styling. So many before Le Sserafim and Aespa has done that styling.
I think people are more talking about power showing kinda concept and also from what I have seen they are more kinda resembling like Red Velvet concept
I don’t see the similarity for Lesserafim and Aespa at all. This is such a stretch and honestly im pretty sure Aespa and Lesserafim themselves wouldn’t want problems like these considering that they’re friends.
the entire concept for taemin's new mini album is that he is (self) referencing HIMSELF. To someone who knows his career the parallels are so obvious lol He's going back in time to the very beginning and he's had a 10 YEAR LONG career so it's goofy to think he hasn't tried any of this stuff before. Every teaser and pre-release concept photo has had obvious ties to his previous concepts. His catch phrase for this album is literally "taemin is taemin, no matter what" so i can't see him even wanting to reference another artist in the first place. He is crazy serious about his art and his career. never in a million years do i expect to see taemin copying someone else tbh. He sets his own trends (always has
Exactly. I mostly agree with you, he definitely wouldn’t copy. But he has referenced MJ & Janet. And that’s completely ok. What’s admirable is being able to create something unique out of what inspires you. Many end up being worse versions of other artists. Taemin and those create his music take his inspirations, kpop background, & created something really unique. I think he has incredible taste and a great team who understands his vision. They manage to execute that vision to create great art. Many lack that, the ability to execute. I’m really proud of his continued growth. It’s wild to look back on his younger years.
le sserafims concept photos are so cool people are mad, im a big fan of aepsa and i didnt even think of aespa at all when i saw the photos. also they said supernova and showed barely anythign from supernova, if u really want you can say the clothing styles are simlar but its nothing that hasnt been done before but they have a completly different vibe. its also siminar to xg or itzy if were looking at that way
Those knetz complaining about kpop idols posting Japan related stuff really are jobless. Felix just posted an anime and a japanese song. There is no harm in that. Jaemin wrote in japanese because he just arrived in Japan. Jaemin has also done that when he arrived in other countries and wrote in the native language of that place. Yeonjun legit posted pictures of random streets, you can’t even clearly tell if it is in Japan. Unless you have been or live there. Kind of wild they overeact so much, meanwhile most of kpop is copied from jpop. Like the whole idol concept is borrowed from jpop idols, the whole thing with fanmeetings and trainee period.
as international fans we are ignorant to korean culture and history. it's just not right to say their overreacting when we have no idea we're talking abt. this is like a knet saying we're dumb whenever we try to hold an idol accountable and educate them on cultural appropriation or something offensive they've done maybe without realizing. knets know what their talking about when it comes to, idk, they own history and what's insensitive and what's not, so we should listen to them and join in on this! just like how knets should also care to learn and hold accountable idols whenever international fans are upset about something we should know abt like hey this is my culture your using. Lets listen to them because they know, understand, and have actually lived with the culture and history. as for the similarities between kpop and jpop... open a book that's what happens when a country gets colonized like that's so brain dead
@@booplesnoople3879 I think you are the braindead person here. Like how is listening to music from another country, writing in another language and posting pictures of your vacation offensive? That is legit what Felix, Yeonjun and Jaemin did. You koreaboos really think the world revolves around knetz. Kpop did not have to copy the jpop formula, no one forced them. The CEO just saw that the jpop formula sold lot of albums so they copied it. Even Lee Sooman (SM founder) admitted that.
@@booplesnoople3879 What you said makes sense, but I have a sneaking suspicion that they are digging for things to be mad at kpop idols about (like they do a lot). Ofc it's good to show respect to history, but someone like Felix wasn't even born in Korea... He's lived there for a while, but he still may be a bit unaware of truly how deep it may go for Koreans who were born there and have lived there their entire lives. If he needs to be more wary of their culture and feelings, they also need to be more wary of his as well
Oh sure, every idol can be criticized for something (e.g. I am a big fan of Ryujin, but the truth is that she didn't sing the high parts in her own solo song while on tour. Why not? Why even write a song you can't/won't sing it for your fans?).... the real question is why people need to be so hateful in how they express their criticism. That's a totally different type of energy.
@@warren_r yessss obviously there’s a difference between hate and criticism just a lot of the time now you can’t even critique someone without being called mean or a bully. i'm not even gonna lie, stuff like this used to be cute and funny in the past, but the amount of unnecessary bullshit these days and drama is getting out of hand and giving me so much anxiety and taking the fuck out of the experience for me. i can't even fangirl in peace anymore.
I agree with you, if it’s starting to affect your mental health it’s time to take a break lol. But in fairness to this person, it is jarring and honestly really fucking depressing seeing the hate and vitriol that comes from just partaking in K-pop to any degree. Now more than ever fans and anti fans alike are creating such an unwelcoming, unlikeable community that is significantly less fun to participate in even in the most entry level ways cause there’s just nonsense and hate bursting from the seems of any innocent thing I swear lmao 🤣 but 100% if it’s getting to you that bad it’s time to put the phone down, decompress, and detach haha

Taemin copying Jimin? Lol. Some fans need hobbies. Taemin could copy an MV scene for scene and Jimin would probably just be flattered because he loves and admires Taemin. Fans need to stop acting like overbearing parents about this stuff.
Let’s not go too far lol. Ignoring this situation. If a friend copied something of mine I wouldn’t be flattered, it would hurt more. I’m not saying that’s what’s happening here, I just disagree with that part.

Honestly Le Sserrafim and Aespa are not similar at all. Aespa has an alien and futuristic feel, while Le Sserrafim looks closer to gen 1 (about 2011-2015) Monster High, with their colored hair and exaggerated facial expressions.
Honestly this time I understand netizens. Our Independence Day from British is also on same day as Korean liberation day. And it’s not something you forget. Even a child knows how important August 15 th is. Plus the whole week people will keep reminding you because we have to hoist our national flag and sing the anthem early morning and there will be celebration on that day all over India. And if a celebrity posts something on Aug 15th that’s pro Britain(which never happens) or pro pak (because that’s the day pak formed by separation from India , there is no chance in hell that it’s not intentional. And people will call u out for that. So yeah even if it’s not intentional in this case I’d understand why it would upset people. They colonised you ffs have some shame and respect the freedom fighters who fought for ur freedom.
Things like this and other incidents make me constantly wonder which is worse stan Twitter or the Knetizen community but that might be a conversation for another day. Now it’s so insane to me and consistently blows my mind how much fans have control over K-pop idols/idols in general. But to be honest idk if it’s the company or the idols themselves but they keep on indulging these idiotic, insensitive, and in some respects arrogant fans with these apologies. Raising their egos to a new level seeing that they can influence idols actions and to be honest bully these idols most of the time without consequence.
I’m honestly convinced these idols don’t write these dumb apologies, like they probably don’t care lol. It sounds way too professional and I just simply wouldn’t be surprised if their company responded for them…
Appreciate such timely and accurate updates from you, Angelina! I do not see the need for such hatred towards the idols for merely posting their pictures and challenges. Not everyone can know everything about every single event in history. Plus, it was harmless. People should wait for the album release before hating LS for no reason whatsoever. Constructive criticism and hate are entirely different things. It would be intriguing to see if Hybe has learned from their ignorance or not. Leave Taemin alone. He is an icon in his own right and has established his identity in the industry. And so is Jimin with his new solo stuff. There's no need for comparisons. Hopefully, KIOF is not being forced to do performances that they feel uncomfortable with. CL is such a queen!
but yeonjun and jaemin are KOREAN, yes it was probably a harmless mistake but they should still be held accountable, especially since we don’t know how meaningful liberation day is to Koreans.

Lmfao the audacity to find the smallest similarities from different BTS mvs and stitch it to compare whenever Taemin releases something is INSANE. Let me tell you something, Taemin debuted in 2008 and debuted as a solist in 2014 which is only an year after BTS debuted. Since then, he birthed many idols and even Jimin looks up to him. Jimin and Taemin are closee friends as well. Why do you think Taemin would plagiarise them?? The hate and nevativity is FORCED!! my pet peeve is i just heard another youtuber the other day insinuating that extreme diets and weighing a certain weight in kpop is NECESSARY and EXPECTED to the degree that they almost deserve to have job insecurity if they don't adhere... I don't know maybe it's the autism but I always find myself just asking "Why though?" but why though??? Why does it HAVE to be that way?
Might be just me but 1 _pet peeve_ is seeing the black safety shorts sticking out...takes me right outta the vibe, especially if theres no black in the stage outfits, yk? I get why they need em but 1) can't there be flesh tone or 2) can't styling find clothes that fit properly? Also, why so many album versions (this has been brought up by many)
My sis just bought a pair of shorts that cover half the bottom and then there's ultra long safety shorts unter and it's all sewn together. I hate them with a burning passion that'll probably turn into real flames if i have to see them more.
My kpop pet peeve has to be seeing pre debut pics of idols and seeing their beautiful rich skin-tone and then watching a fan cam and seeing bad the company white washed them and bleached their skin 😭
Guys, if I'm correct, Taemin can't have copied Taehyung and Jimin because he was born before them. Also, one can't copy syllables that come from two names.
My biggest K-pop-pet-peeve might sound silly but it’s the Samsung collabs, I genuinely find it so annoying and almost sad when fans can’t take pictures with idols only because they have an iPhone or when idols like Wonyoung receive hate for using an iPhone during a Samsung partnership. Let’s face it, the collabs might not have a negative intention and I see why Samsung is doing them but all they do is result in annoying and negatively associated situations. Also, most idols just use iPhones and go back to them after the Samsung contract ends. Samsung could collab with idols like Haseul, Jeongyeon or Sunmi who actually use the phones to make the commercials actually authentic and make less strict regulations about fans who don’t have Samsung-Phones.
Imaging accusing taemin of doing his own concept because your favs have done a taemin concept. Things is that you don't see shawols or TAEmates talking about ten or jimin during their comeback when we all know their inspiration
Well the only thing we can do as a fearnot is to ban the haters Le Sserafim had enough of hate from coachella and they just making excuses to just keep hating them and i will still support my girls because they don't deserve hate i respect them and i will always be a fearnot the haters needs to touch grass or mind their business so toxic
My Kpop pet peeve is when baby Kpop fans start hating on older idols who have been in the industry longer than their faves like tf you mean "Taemin copied Taehyung and Jimin that's why he's called Taemin" Like please educate yourself! Taemin is literally a Seonbae of both Taehyung and Jimin! He's been in the industry since 2008!
I’m a MY and people are strecthiiiiiiiiiiing. First of all, the Supernova comparison is just nonesense and I’m sure they only included it for clicks (very misleading). For the other photos, they certainly have that playfulness and craziness that aespa concept photos have had in the past, but first of all, aespa doesn’t own that (I would say the colorfulness is more ISTJ than aespa, especially the acid color palette and the thunder references), and second of all, the concepts are noticeably different, people are reachiiiiiiiiing, and they need to get themselves in check.
Why is South Koreas liberation day always a national Japan hate day, people who did the occupation and war horrors back then are almost all dead now. What`s the point of hating the entire country like that every year, instead of appriciating Korea itself?
Honestly I think this was a publicity stunt (not the idols could be a careless mistake) with KBS i definitely think many people don’t care anymore only very nationalist Koreans that are mad
Because Japan was the most heartless cruel people on that time and the rape thing was so cruel can't even imagine. korea is no wrong in this case, colonization still haunts them.
I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HOW WILL TBL MANAGE AND CHOOSE MEOVV CONCEPT 🐾🐾🐾 as someone who loves animals this is, i think, the first time we will get to see an "animals concept" ..? (as a group, not just a song). so yeah really excited
as a non-stay and as an nctzen, i don't think felix did that on purpose, i mean, it looks almost like a coincidence to me. but i do feel like jaemin should've known better about that day, considering that he's korean, and the fact that he chose to write in japanese and not korean in that post out of all posts on THAT DAY? idk. he's my bias, and i love him, but this is kinda weird from him, i mean i'm not offended bc i'm not korean, but i get the backlash.
Jaemin posted in japanese because he arrived in Japan. He has posted in the native language of other countries he has arrived in too. Those knetz are just sensitive. Only thing they did is post anime and say something in japanese. Anime is famous all around the world.
he wrote: “we’ve arrived safely in Japan” in japanese because there are typhoons and stuff currently in japan. I get why he’s getting criticized but context matters as well
even if he arrived there, he should've known and post it in korean to avoid the backlash. it suprise me that he wasn't cautious. but yeah, i also think koreans are little bit over-sensitive over this. but whatever.
Atp, I think most articles geared to point out plagiarism is just noise marketing. With the way the media is, they know how to get views or traffic. Unfortunately for Kpop groups, this is becoming too common. Most fans are too easy to bait with these kinds of articles because of the need to defend their favourites. I understand that many don't have the same sentiment, but seriously, it's getting ridiculous. Of course there are exemptions, but the majority of Kpop related articles nowadays just make me want to not click on them.
For the Le Sserafim “copying” Aespa…when I saw the first concept photos I did get heavy Spicy vibes with the outfits, colored hairs, but I don’t think it’s straight copying. It’s just a popular style that’s been used in the recent generation before. I think why people assume it’s copying since with Supernova the girls (Aespa) are shown to be using their I guess new powers; whereas with Le Sserafim they seem to have powers too. Anyways I think it’s a stretch but I did get Spicy vibes.
It was rumored when a selfie was leaked months back of trainees (some were known, for others it wasn't sureif they are trainees) in a practice room and bailey was in that, she could've also just been the choreographer or teacher tho🤷🏼♀️ but the speculations were that she will debut in the group bc she once posted that she was taking vocal lessons, she was suddenly wery inactive on socials and around new years i think she posted new beginnings and new decade on 2 sepate posts. I just realized something In LESSERA’s good bones song The lyrics go “Easy,Crazy,Hot,I can make it” And we already have EASY and now the cb song is Hot :o IM A GENIUS RAHHHHHH
My pet peeve is when stans purposefully misunderstand something you say or pretend you've said something controversial when you never said anything close to that, all so they can fight you on it. Like fight your siblings, don't make stuff up just to create drama. Also, I think LSF's comeback is going to be heavily criticized regardless of whether the concept is similar to Aespa's or not. When a group is dragged for a specific lack issue, the way they usually deal with this is make that issue the focus of their next comeback. In LSF's case, it's vocals, but their new song sounds like a noise-track, so ppl are gonna accuse them of trying to brush over the issue by covering it with a lot of loud noise and autotune instead of working on it, mark my words. Not looking forward to the fan in-fighting, but I hope the song is good
Sorry that lightening looks like Supernatural Daniel. Makes sense because Hybe staff harrassed Ador's stylist to her home in the middle of the night and stole her personal technology just months ago. They will have decent concepts this year as they've obviously already seen Adors plans. No more poop covers.
Kinda random but everytime I listen to supersonic by fromis_9 i get reminded of supersonic by little winters. Its the 'super super supersonic supersonic' part for me.
I'm not Korean, I'm African American, so it's not my place to speak about the Korean/Asian experience but I'll say this. The amount of nationalism people have where they get upset when someone mentions another country with a dark past, for something POSITIVE on a holiday honestly scares me a bit. I thought it was cool that those idols could show appreciation towards Japan, that's progress right? I guess that's just my take. I can't see myself being patriotic toward any country. My Kpop pet peeve is line distributions where 1 member gets screwed so often.
I'm really curious about ppl's opinions on the kiss of life one. Because i really love them, since debut untill sticky.. they've always showed a bit of their sexy sides in their dances, but this really escalated fast at the time the "nobody knows" choreo got popular, everything about kiof became specifically focused on them dancing and looking sexy... midas touch choreo was lowkey fine, but sticky and jullie and natty's cover were really.........i dont know. I really love the girls but i don't like the idea of them only being known as "sexy idols". Natty has beautiful vocals and julie too, this group is a perfect group and have amazing songs, this "forced" sexy style doesn't suit them. Atleast for haneul and belle.
Natty and Julie like this style though, they have mentioned it before. Plus, the girls have talked with their company when it comes to their concepts, so they have given their input. Also, they're adults. I just watched that cover video and I see nothing wrong with the choreo.
spain and england were never colonized😭 as international fans we have to listen too and respect koreans when their upset abt something problematic, we can't think their taking things too far or being weird because we are ignorant to korean history and culture. If their getting major black lash for being insensitive to these subjects who are we to say they are taking things too far. this reminds me of how idols don't get a lot of black lash for cultural appropriation and racism in korea, they are ignorant abt these topics but it's still wrong.
The oppression of Koreans by the Japanese was very recent , I believe the older generation that went through it is still alive. If we posted a British flag during the 4th of July people wouldn’t care because it was so long ago

Platinum pricing is dynamic and when I made it through my 19,801 position in queue for LA Day 2, platinum tickets were in the $900-1000 range and it wasn't even VIP 😫 I don't know how TM comes up with the prices but that's just preying on us when we're vulnerable af 😭
I was thinking to myself the other day how the awesomeness of BTS doesn't match their name like wym a group who has a song like Black Swan is called Bullet Proof Boyscout, I love them tho lol
I feel like the name Bulletproof Boys Scouts matches their debut concept as a hip-hop band. 2 Cool 4 Skool and Dark & Wild etc align well with this name. Later they started trying different genre.
