@@elsandrissimo you are so welcome. I totally get it. Currently working on Bach partitas and other pieces I did in the past but with Bach it's the string crossings. I'm also working on Sibelius violin concerto mainly the lyrical parts where sustaining bow is key and where you better know your scales, 3rds, 4ths and octaves
@@elsandrissimo wow, impressive! And when you learned it in the first place, for how many years was that? (Sorry, I'm just curious what it took you to get there...)
He started to learn music, violín, piano, and all the courses parallel to math, geography, history, etc, at 6 years old at the Music Conservatory in Havana, Cuba, hasn't stop since then.
Sure! I started really slowly and on the string. Always make sure that, with a passage of sixteen notes the rhythm is even. That's really important to accomplish the stroke. You want ultimately have the bow do all the work instead of yourself. Every bow's bouncing point is different so you have to try this in various parts of the bow until you find the bouncing spot. I hope these tips helps!
@@consumebeef5900 Yes. That also will determine how much bounce you'll accomplish. If the bow hair is either too tight or loose it'll be harder to find a bouncing point.
