That's definitely true. First, his name was "Camarena," not Camerana. I know that for sure because I'm almost 53 years old now and I was in 8th grade at that time. I also know that Camarena's murder was just outside of Guadalajara, where my mom is from and her family. I can also recall the face of one of Camarena's murderers (the one with the mustache), who was later brought to Los Angeles to face charges.

Just because some people never heard of him doesn't mean that many others who are better informed don't know who he is. If you knew anything about the world of espionage, you would know that other than a few stars on an honor wall in Langley most of the greatest spies of this country remain unknown.
