Emo and scene cultures are two very different things. HxC exists entirely because of you 'scene kids' stepping into a music scene you didn't belong in. Genre disputes aside, as scene isn't a music genre while emo is; history matters. Especially when it happens so fast. Don't conflate terms or you do a disservice to your own words.
