That’s a cool little Zippo tape! Nice snag! And that Case is a beauty! Love the wood handles. Excellent video sir! You have yourself a Jim Dandy Friday evening with the family. Cheers, RW
@rwa123 thank you brother. I never knew zippo made tapes until i had seen the on RU-vid. So i finally had to snag one. You have a blessed weekend my friend. 👍👊👊🤝
Hey brother!! Maaaan i dig that Sycamore for sure!! I still have not owned a Slimline Trapper yet. I will one day for sure. I dig the red bone too. That is the same model i torched haha. Thanks for sharing brother!!
@R.H.bladeNshade thanks brother Ryan. Man you have got to get you a slimline for sure. Really great pattern. I bet that red bone you torched came out great.
Hey, Travis. Was just opening you letter as this popped up. Thanks you for the stickers and the kind words. Very nice finds and that sycamore wood is unreal. That has to be my favourite looking Case handle material, next to the pine cone. Have you seen one of those? Have a great day!
@Pocket_EDC thank you brother. Glad you got the letter and stickers. Yes sir them pinecone bones are absolutely beautiful. I need to get one. Ive had my eyes on the canoe.
Another great Felt Friday brother Travis! If I’m not mistaken the Imperial Ireland knives started being made in 1978 but I’m unsure how long they were made.
@RonaldNorwood-kn4bo thank you brother. And thanks for the insight on the imperial barlow. Im going to attempt to give it a good cleaning and bring it back to life
I couldnt tell ya on imperial but that sycamore is such a gorgeous wood. I have to agree I love the blade style on the slimline i actually like the light on the edges brother. God bless and hope you have agood day my friend
I like that Zippo tape! I really enjoy fixing up old knives, you’ll like it. That sycamore wood is beautiful. I need to get me some slimlines. I know where there’s one of those redbone trappers for $35 Travis. I should probably just pick it up, but I’m kinda trappered out lol
Thank you brother. Shoot for 35 bucks you better go ahead and snag it. 😂 Im real excited to start working on that barlow. I know i got the hands to do it but dont have any of the tools at the moment. I want to take it all the way apart and completely rebuild it. And im even thinking of doing some custom wood handles. I mean go big or go home right. 😂
@@TravisTheCaseGuy yessir. I got all my tools at Harbor Freight: benchtop drillpress, buffer, one of them 3” grinders like Knife Doctor has, and the 1 inch belt sander as well. Plus I’ve got a cordless Dremel
