I say this same thing every time I get a chance to comment, IF you have a persons ID and Tag number and body camera footage, and they are not prone to hurt somebody, let them run, do not put yourself and the public in danger. Next day Law Enforcement can find and arrest him on their own terms.

There again. Officer alone and unaccounted for. I live in Indianapolis where on July 10 an officer who transported a known murderer alone was killed by the murderer. Had there been another officer it wouldn't have happened. This lady cop was unbelievably lucky. They had tons of opportunities to harm her. Probably would never have been figured out. She needs to find another line of work.

Cops can stop you for not being able to read your license plate though. It can't be obstructed and that includes dirt. So with a valid stop over the obstructed plate they can ask for driver identification.
