I know this confusion. I went to pistol quals as a Corporal with a female Gunny and SSgt as my target mates. The Gunny looked just like the blonde female werewolf from The Howling 2 movie. She was freaking hot and smoked and joked like no other WM I'd ever met. We ended up becoming PT buddies. Let's just say that she was a very, very, very confident older woman (and SNCO) who knew what she liked.

After Active Duty, I joined the Army National Guard and we had a prior Marine E6 who constantly made his guys call him Staff Sergeant. In the Army, E5-E8 is just called Sergeant (except a 1SG). I was an E5 at the time so I purposely called him Sergeant in front of everyone just to piss him off. What a dbag!

@@issstari954 Yes it is a targeted group. Yes there are "normal" advertisements for the Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force. You can spell "LGBTQ" in any way, it isn't a name, but a list. It's not a slippery slop for the DoD to push for inclusivity in the branches with various ads for different groups. It makes us stronger as a standing military because there are different and accepted backgrounds, thus differing experiences to bring to the table and so on. As soon as she said gunny or gunnery sergeant a red flag was raised. The marines might be the strictest of rank but also in tradition. What puts you above a title (gunny) that the greatest marines in history proudly went by. I think the fact that there are really only two enlisted ranks that rate using a nickname in official settings actually elevates those ranks.

She preyed on Guys who were not the Top Tier Tom Cruise/Brat Pitt look , but more down to earth lads who were more 'Vulnerable' . She knew her targets & landscape very, very well. I was short when she tried to press into me so I just ducked my head , got my Honorable Discharge and never looked back.

Ha Ha! This is great. I was in the ARMY, combat arms. Females anywhere on posts or deployments were few and far between. The ones that were around were called "queen for a year" because no matter how horrible they looked, they got plenty of attention. I had standards to uphold and never went after them. There was an E5 I met as the NCOIC for the ADVON teams that showed up from all the different units. She was 5'6", 115 lbs, smokin hot brunette, maybe 23-24 years old. By far the hottest female soldier I ever saw. Unfortunately, we only reported to her early and worked the rest of the day without seeing her again... never got to even chat with her. I would have fraternized the hell out of her if I could (I was an E2 at the time lol). One of the few women I've encountered in my life that were irresistible. Oh well.... I did find an equally impressive woman some years later and we've been married 14 years. She wasn't in the service.
