What I love about the Broken Heart skit is that it pulls in references from other songs on the album that are not performed. Acting like a lifeless doll to be dressed up and played with is a nod to My Boy… in addition to the silent film Clara Bow reference. I just love how she weaves her themes and imagery throughout everything she does, that’s true artistic vision!
The Who's afraid of Little Old Me stage confirms the song is about Scooter and Scott, IMO. She's standing next to a record spindle swinging around like she's standing on a giant old timey-wimey record player. She's a record. A very angry and vengeful record.
French Swiftie here! I went to see Taylor on Saturday’s evening and omg it was magical! It’s all I’ve been thinking about ever since! I temporarily deleted my social medias before so I went in fully blind, I had no idea what would be changed! It was the best experience of my life (first time seeing her!) and I am so thankful! As for some logistic points: in France, there are laws on the price of culture so concerts’ tickets can’t be too expensive (I mean, 200€ is of course very expensive for a concert for French people but compared to $1000 it’s definitely less expensive). As for the arena, it may seem small for other people but it is the biggest concert arena in Europe so honestly in my opinion it was the best for Taylor. Now, for the setlist changes, of course I wish I could’ve had all the songs from the previous setlist, but seeing the TTPD set is just so incredible it makes it all worth it! Especially now that we can see the Eras Tour movie (of course it’s not nearly as great as seeing her live but it’s still incredible!) Anyway, incredible video as always and love on you Ally!
39:03 for the TTPD set, I saw a TikTok or a series of tiktoks depicting how the visuals in the whole set were reminiscent of different Broadway like who’s afraid of little old me is reminiscent of wicked, the smallest man who ever lived is reminiscent of Les Mis, I can do it with a broken heart, is reminiscent of Chicago, so high school is reminiscent of Grease and so on.
I love that the TTPD set moves through from being in love to breaking up, breaking down, getting angry, faking it til she makes it through to enjoying her tour!

Addition to the laudeville or silent film inspired transition from "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived" to "I Can Do It With A Broken Heart", That whole sequence makes so much sense as a nod to Clara Bow (the artist and the song).
I just know that when Taylor was writing Smallest Man she was thinking about how cathartic it would be to sing that anger with 40k++ ppl (depending on the stadium)
And the fact that she specifically sang “touch me while your bros play grand theft auto” with the sexy choreo… that was the line Ally was unsure she’d sing lol and here she is miming touching herself while she sings the lyrics!!
The ICDIWABH segment reminded me, funnily enough, of working customer service. I remember in particular when my mom’s cancer was in its final weeks, I was an absolute wreck on the inside but got told multiple times by customers at work how happy I looked and how nice I was. It was so dissonant.

I have a theory that when she announces Rep TV, she’ll wear a black variant of the surprise song dress and do Dress on piano first. Then, she’ll take off the dress and she’ll have a black Rep Stadium Tour type bodysuit underneath, and then she’ll sing a rock version of IDSB on electric guitar
I went to N3 and N4 in Paris, it was so crazy!!! I wished I could attend N1 but I was away. I tried not to spoil anything from the TTPD set before I went to N3 and honestly, it was worth it. I loved the shows, it was exceptional. My favorite part of TTPD was : everything? No seriously, "Who's afraid of little old me?" was wild, but "The smallest man who ever lived" was very emotional, and "I can do it with a broken heart" was very fun and amazing to watch. All the new outfits were exceptional, I was SO SO happy to get the orange/red Lover bodysuit on Sunday, as well as the Chiefs 1989 outfit and all the other ones. I'm glad she kept Willow, I cried so much. Travis was there, we even got "karma is the guy on the chiefs", the crowd was WILD, I had such a blast. Eveybody screamed "PARIS" in between Blank space, there was such a nice atmosphere and so many people were exchanging friendship bracelets. I forgot to mention we got 2 mash-ups, HELLO ???? The Alchemy + treacherous ANNNNNDDD Begin again + Paris. OOOOMG. Ok I need to calm down. We were SOOOOOO lucky in Paris to have the new TTPD set, the new outfits and also to be in an arena so close to Taylor!!! Looking forward to go to Lyon N1 and N2. Looking forward to watch entirely your video and get tons of explanations as always, thanks for educating us :p :) xxx

This is my first time commenting but I've been watching your videos forever (love them and love you) and just wanted to say GOD I wish she comes back to the south (east and west) so we get to see TTPD performance! I was lucky enough to be in 2 of the Buenos Aires shows (I saw her running to kiss Travis with my own eyes 'cause I was sitting right in front of the backstage tent wtf is my life) but The Eras Tour was my first Taylor show 'cause it was her first time coming here so I already feel so lucky, but my god watching her scream who's afraid of little old me to my face would make my life. Ally, THANK YOU SO MUCH for doing these videos. I feel like we're connected even tho we're like 4 flights away. German Swifty here. The Paris Shows were actually held in a closed Venue, so for them it was dark start to finish. However France and Germany are in the same Timezone and the shows will start around the same time. I was watching the Livestreams and kept looking outside to see at what era it’s gonna be dark at. I will be attending the N1 in Hamburg which is an open Stadium. What in didn’t realize is that in the German summer our sun doesn’t set until like 9:30 pm but it’s still light at like 10:30 pm. So we’re gonna see almost the entire show in the light except midnights cause this set starts around 10:45 pm, how fitting😂😂😂

I went to Paris N1 and it was so so so good! Honestly I didn't really notice the set changes that much because I never really took notice of the order of the eras but I did notice Speak Now and Folklore had a different intro. When we realized that the intro for TTPD was happening the crowd got soooo loud and everybody was so hyped!! It was insane being the first show that got to see the TTPD set! I especially loved the onstage costume change for ICDIWABH! Everything was amazing and I want to see it again so bad!

Nena Shelby on YT described the TTPD set as the stages of grief and i completely agree omg! I feel like it's the best set of the show. I love how she also transformed the show into something fresh and new (as much as I enjoyed the old version too). She really kept us all on our toes as we know Taylor loves to do!
French Swiftie here! I went to night 4, it was absolutely amazing. The TTPD set was spectacular and I could not have asked for better surprise songs. I didn't find out that Travis Kelce was also there until the next day but it all makes sense now 😂
One of my favorite bits of the TTPD set is, between Down Bad and Fortnight, her platform draws an infinity symbol, and the last time she sings "i touched you for only a fortnight", the symbol dissapates like smoke!!
I went to Stockholm night one and it was so incredible. New outfits, Blue and yellow for Swedens colours. The crowd was soooo load, deafening. Everyone knew every song. Incredible.
I did GA for Paris N1 and it was exhausting. I did 400s for N2 and it was amazing! GA is hot, crowded, and you're standing for hours on end. I wouldn't do it again in GA, plus the higher up you are, the better you can see everything else. For N1 and N2 most seats were taken, there might have been a few empty here and there in the seats.
I've just seen all three shows here in Stockholm, Sweden. An amazing experience! I've attended all of her previous tours as well, but this was the first time she visited Sweden. It's incredible how fast her new songs have become a natural part of her song catalog.
Hey Ally! I love your vids! Here is something on my mind about TTPD I love it and think it's awesome! It has really been bothering me though how people keep posting these lies that she mocks Christians. Everything she uses is metaphors. Like in Guilty As Sin? She says "Even if I roll the stone away there gonna crucify me anyway" Isn't mocking Christians. It is showing all of her thoughts she expresses in the song, even if she pushes the sinful ones out, the media and world will still hate her. She also uses religious references because they are relatable, comparable, and well known. Like In WCS, she is talking about how she really felt a loss from JM and she sold herself to fame, and sadly him. She uses metaphors and parts from her own beliefs in her songs. (None of which are bad or disrespectful.) As a Christian, I believe she is perfectly respectful of us and is just an amazing and metaphorical poetic soul. Even if she does not believe anymore, I feel nothing she has said has been mockery or disrespectful. What are your thoughts?
I was at the eras tour night 3 in Stockholm, and there was something so special about the ttpd set. I can’t explain it it was just the whole vibe that felt so different in a way. I think it actually was my favourite part of the show❤

Her presence, her voice, the incredible vibe of the stadium, everything was so perfect. Going in to the Stockholm weekend I had one ticket for N3, however I could on ticketmasters resale find tickets to N1 and N2 as well for below 200USD! It was incredible to watch the TTPD set, best set on the entire tour!! She was amazing and the surprise songs in Stockholm were wild! Thanks Taylor! 😍❣️🥳

I have videos of me reacting and you can hear that I am soooo not ok especially with So High School ! Also the fact that we were uncertain during the whole show and just waiting for something to happen until the « I forget how the west was won… » it was unforgettable !!
My predictions:- 1) Rep TV with it's vault tracks will be part of Female Rage: the musical. It will be such a smart move to promote both the albums. And orange will be the theme just like fire 🔥. 2) rep tv: she will have new outfits. I did something bad will be having a grand entry in Era's Tour and it matches with the theme of Female Rage. 🧡 3) My boy only breaks his fav toys needs to get the cruel summer treatment. Ally I know you probably won’t read this, but I wanted to share that I grew up with Taylor Swift. Most swifties are millennials who were there for the album releases, but I was born almost exactly when debut came out. I grew up listening to fearless and some speak now tracks during my childhood, and when I first got RU-vid I would spend hours watching the red music videos. I was a tween dancing to 1989, a teenager defending her to my friends during reputation, and now turning into an adult evermore has become my entire personality. I watch your videos religiously and I just wanted to share my appreciation for Taylor Swift but also for how inclusive you are for fans of all ages. Being a younger fan means I’ll always cherish Taylor Swift with the memories of my childhood 🫶🫶🫶 Love you Ally, please keep making videos forever xx
Hi Ally, I just wanted to reassure you that you CAN still do the Eras nails, I did it for my concert in Paris where I combined folklore/evermore on one nail. Here's how I did it : both colors divided by a diagonal line in gold sparkly nail polish, to mimic the invisible string that runs through these two albums (and mirrored in cardigan and willow MVs as well) ! This gives you just enough space to still do the TTPD nail ;) Also, was there for the TTPD first set in Paris N1 and it was absolutely electric ! As soon as she cut The Archer, we were all anticipating a new set, but she saved it almost for last before the acoustic set, so each new era with all the changes, outfits, songs cut, order reshuffling etc, it really built up the hype for the new set, and she kept dropping hints like "this type of crowd makes us wanna surprise you guys...", we were so ecstatic honestly ! To answer your question about All Too Well, at least in Paris we weren't in an outside stadium, we were indoors so it felt like night-time all throughout and it was magical too :) Still a bit sad about Long Live, because even she has performed it live a lot (as you say in the video), she hasn't performed much in Europe and I'm not even sure that this song has been played live in France at all before... I would still have preferred to cut other stuff from Red or something so Long Live could have stayed. Thankfully she reaaaally made it up with the crazy TTPD setlist and production ! Even with all of our expectations, she and her dancers and crew still managed to exceed them so much ! Like I didn't dare to DREAM of hearing "Who's afraid of little old me" live, it felt so surreal and powerful especially when she screams the chorus line and "what if they did" part. Still trying to get over the whole night, I feel so grateful to have finally seen her live !!! Anyway, thank you for your thoughtful approach to all of your videos and for creating a comforting space on the Internet to be an international swiftie, much love from France !

I was at Paris night 4!! Me and the people next to me were FREAKING OUT during poets!! complete strangers, but we felt like best friends!! we had both stayed off social media so we could be surprised, and every song she played was met with screams of surprise and happiness!!! it seemed like the whole arena already knew the songs by heart, and it was the most fun experience I’ve ever had!! so high school bridge was so unexpected, and screaming tsmwel bridge was so therapeudic. who’s afraid of little old me was insaneeee, the vocals???? Fortnight and down bad were amazing! I opted to go silent for “more!” during icdiwabh but basically no one else did. The little skit for her outfit change was genius!!! She went so hard with the outfits, performances, choreo, and on screen visuals. Curious what she will do for the eras tour movie!
Incredible addition to the tour. Also note the flames on the elevated platform she’s on during BDILH and the hand gestures that seem to somewhat mimic someone crossing themselves but are just mysterious enough for the Sarahs, Hannahs and Harrison Butkers to intuit some sort of demonic meaning from them. I could imagine Taylor getting a big kick of messing with the pearl clutchers. The visuals overall are stunning. The house with all the cobwebs (Spider Boy, King of Thieves?) and the attic with the sharp angled shafts of sunlight and the representation of Taylor in WAOLOM is amazing. And someone on TT who attended one of the shows captured a clip of Taylor levitating against that image that makes it look like she’s levitating into the attic. Love the theater kid energy of the march and the obvious parallels that you showed. It also gives some My Chemical Romance Black Parade vibes, and has just generally made Swemos everywhere happier than they’re used to being.
Girly Europe has some serious regulations when it comes to reselling. Most times tickets are non transferable so buying those cheap tickets is actually a huge risk because there’s a high chance they won’t let you in. Also those websites where the resell tickets were at are pages blocked on Europe territory because they’re not legal. That’s why so many of these tickets were not bought, we just can’t see them in Europe
I was at Glendale N1, and I feel SO LUCKY to have seen the original show as an entire surprise. BUT I'm also so jealous of the Paris N1 people who had basically the same experience where it was such a surprise.
I went to the Stockholm show blind from the TTPD set and it was AMAZING 🤩 I guess my favorites were But Daddy I Love Him and The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived (and Guilty As Sin? as a surprise song obviously). I was really sad about Long Live being cut but for me it would have been worst if Enchanted was cut (it was my ever first show and Enchanted is one of the songs that made me a Swiftie), so happy that none of the Fearless set was cut, but pretty sad about Tolerate it, it was a highlight of the show for me
The TTPD part is completely a thing that I'd like to see for the first time again. I can't even put into words how it felt to watch each amazing cinematic presentation of hers. 'Who's afraid of little old me'... was simply shining for me lol, I couldn't believe my eyes... I was like 'Is she flying?'.
2 things: 1. THANKS GOD she didn't cut out "All Too Well". That song has to be sung in every single show until the end of time. 2. The Rep outfit hasn't changed and it won't change because everything about her has changed except her reputation. I went to Paris N3, I was on the floor and I could see her so well! It was the most magical night of my life. I was careful not to spoil myself about the changes in the set list, and TTPD blew me away like genuinely, the song choices, the outfits, the choreos, the stage decor, everything is INSANE. The song that made the biggest impression on me was def who’s afraid of little old me, Taylor’s energy, vocals, everything is so intense. I loved the song already but now it’s one of my favorites on the album just because the live performance was sooooooo good!
With icdiwabh, her repeating parts she's done in the tour just shows what she was thinking. I would always think about what Taylor was thinking while performing because when you know something better than the back of your hand, it's a lot easier for your body to just do and your mind go elsewhere. Like I used to think 'well she's probably thinking up lyrics for songs', but it's clear she was probably thinking about something or someone else. So glad she's doing well now 🤍✨
I was in Paris, there was 45 000 places! The atmosphere was amazing, people were singing, enjoying the time, and there were a lot of screams when she began the TTPD set! I was very happy to go in blind, because I really enjoyed not knowing the setlist!
I agree with you about Guilty as Sin...it fits the European rhythm the song has, it would have benefitted being there, it's also my favorite. It will have a late rise just like Cruel Summer.
