I taught Hyuna is the visual material. It makes sense that she got 80% of the standards but in my opinion she could be 100% considering that she lost points because of body ratio and height while she often ranks 1st or at least top 10 everytime Netizens have to pick their body goal or best idol body, Seolhyun is her only opponent but we can say that she's the top female idol when it comes to ideal body.

Almost killed myself as well, but I stopped letting the people who bullied me influence how I feel & one of these people was my own mother. We coddle people too much nowadays, and this has created too many weak people. You can't erase Jimin from AoA. She's an important part of AoA whether people like it or not.
@@ZeriocTheTank I 100% agree, what I mean is that thinking with the creator point of view it's pretty plausible the creator of these videos could avoid talking about AoA especially considering her/his content is going most probably to be seen by a young audience that is still not ready for the converation.

Also a lot of idol pics are not really photoshopped but more like putting makup on them afterwards which is why they can sometimes look pale or tan in them,

I really thought that the IU was a perfect example of visual, she is very beautiful and I think the Koreans agree, but I expected more than 60% She is one of the most beautiful idols in my opinion
Well she lost 30% because of height, figure and golden proportions. So stuff that you don't really look at or care about. The other 10% are her not having a V-shaped jaw. Which I honestly think is good. I think her soft jawline fits her the best and makes her look even cuter.
I tought IU was one of the idols who fitted the standards the most. Like she even gets called nations little sister and is a really succesful soloist and actress.

Many people are always surprised when the idol they think is the most attractive doesn’t fit Korean standards perfectly, they don’t even realize that the reason they find certain idols attractive is because they have a facial harmony that appeals to them not because they do or don’t fit Korean standards lol For ex, many fans think Eunwoo is handsome bc his facial harmony appeals to them, not bc he fits Korean standards. If the Korean standard was to have the opposite of what Eunwoo has that wouldn’t mean he’s ugly, that’s why standards are a false measure of beauty

Beauty standards don't matter at all cause we all know beauty is subjective of course not all koreans will follow their own beauty standards i m pretty sure some of them will like a strong firece looking women or a sweet innocent looking women.
Face ratio doesn't depend on the height. It depend on how small your face is. For example. Yuna might be smaller than Somi. But her head is smaller than somi. That's how it works, please use your brain sometimes

I'm 5ft and my face isn't way more compact that the average person. so of course being tall will make it more likely you can fit 8 heads within your body. if you are 8 inches shorter than someone you would have to have a pea head that was out of proportion to fit that many heads, for example. 'Use your brain' bit rude, it's not that deep and the opinion was perfectly valid. Also considering people want them to have a v shaped face, someone with a wider face that's shorter would more likely fit the heads, and be considered ugly. The whole standards are really bizarre because and can't say they make someone more beautiful than another.

Hyuna is a QUEEN. She is so strange, and we really need people like her in the K-pop industry. She started off conforming to the norm of a K-pop idol, and as soon as she got success, she showed us who she really is. I adore her, I admire her, and I think she is one of the coolest female soloist, along with Jessi, Ailee, and, (ahh shit!) eSNa too

For me they are beautiful if they are honest, doesn't hide their true self, confident, love themselves and full of great attitude. That's would be beautiful.
To be honest I agree 90% with Korean beauty standards. They are very precise and they are really good at poiting out what is needed to achieve a balanced look. People always troll them for paying attention to head size but in reality proportions really make a huge difference, it's just that in the west people aren't as good at seeing these things.
Also it's hilarious how people that are very much into kpop and Korean entartainment in general criticise their beauty standards just because they are not very inclusive. Beauty standards have been formed for centuries, they have the right to have their own.
iu does have a v line and hyuna actually doesn’t. she’s gotten a lot of hate for her “wider” jawline actually, by knetz. but imo that’s what makes her so appealing to me, definitely one of the most attractive kpop idols,

For example Ariana Grande wouldn't cover the Korean beauty standards (obviously shes not korean) but it doesn't mean shes not pretty, besides IU could care less about what people think about her beauty so why should we waste our time trying to argue about her looks when she doesn't care. @@gabbs6618 iu have monolids so only irene is the one and only idols who fits korean beauty standards. IU fits 99% of the korean beauty standards but still she is one of the beautiful idols for me. As for irene she fits 100 % for the korean beauty standards. Actually even many k netz would prefer irene over iu but still every kpop idols are beautiful in their own ways anyways 😊 So for your information only irene and jisoo fits korean beauty standards. But every human beings are beautiful in their own ways

Many of these female idols diet so hard in their teens they lose whatever curves they are given and so it's hard to get both the hourglass body and the height.
I honestly think most of these idols could pass with most of these standards. IU may not have a defined the shape, but I think it’s shaped well enough for Koreans to except her chin to be beautiful. That goes with a lot of these “standards”. I don’t think there are any ugly idols, and they all meet most of the KBS, even if it isn’t exact.
Literally every kpop idol has had some sort of procedure, Jessi is just the only one open about it. Wanna talk about drastic plastic surgery, look at Chungha. I can’t even recognize her from her produce days.
I think Jessi doing plastic surgery is normal cuz in Hollywood the famous artists like Kylie Jenner cardi b Nicki Minaj Ariana Grande and many more did surgeries many K-pop fans are not since the K-pop formed and about Korean fans in Korea it is said to be normal to do surgeries 🤔🤔

Jessi is probably the closest thing to a globally recognizable beauty. Europeans, Africans, South AND Central Asians, Americans, Latin Americans all can see what they of as beauty. Not that anyone should try to be different than what they are, just focus on music PLEASE.
