In today’s tutorial, we will be learning how to cut and sew a fitted female trouser or pants or palazzo for beginners. This is a detailed step by step trouser tutorial for beginners.

Yes, absolutely. Trouser length should stop exactly at the ankle for pencil trousers. Then take the circumference of your ankle and input that measurement there Your ankle circumference shouldn’t be too tight, the tape should be able to pull out from your leg whilst taking the measurement, so that you can easily wear and take off the trouser.

I used to wonder why the tape is placed off the starting point when measuring till i realised that its because the waist band will be added later on and also adds to the lenght of the overall trouser, i was so confused and this video cleared it up for me, thank you

Great tutorial but I have reservations concerning the thigh area. You folded the fabric wirh 14inches and got 13.5 inches for thigh after adding allowance, that’s almost the same measurement as the crotch which means the inside leg isn’t meant to curve inward like that if you actually put 6.75 inches on both sides of the thigh line.

You just need to increase your crotch length…. Like i explained in the video, tie a rope, where you want the trouser to start from(high waist) …ensure to measure your crotch and hip point from there.

Yes dear, you can add to the side. Just know that when you add to the side, it will be on both sides(left and right side) then later you can trim the side you don’t want the zipper to be.❤️❤️

Hey. Thank you for this tutorial. I tried this and I fell in love with the crotch at the front, although I watched your recent update on the trouser making and used the correction to my advantage, it was amazing. However, I noticed the back goes in too much, maybe the crotch was shaped(curved) in too deep at the back which I don’t really like but it feels comfortable though. I’m not just one to have the trouser into my butt cheeks so much. Overall, this was really helpful for me. Thank you.❤

Thank you so much for your feedback precious ❤️. In order to correct the back crotch, you don’t need to draw the crotch curve too deep. Once the crotch isn’t too deep, your trouser will fit perfectly ❤️❤️ However, I have an updated tutorial coming very soon that will help with that.
