Nice to see the thrill of the LFS students on this occasion of the visit by the Miss Femina India 2023 contestants. I studied in LFS in Class V in 1966 when the school was in the process of being turned into an all girls school. Boys in the higher classes did not get a chance to appear in the HSLC from LFS and they had to hurriedly get themselves admitted elsewhere but boys were allowed upto Class V for some more years. During our time there were several Italian Salesian Sisters. The LFS has been doing well and I am proud to have studied there.

This mission school in the valley districts who produces maximum civils services in Manipur were trying to dislocated or dispel by some antisocial elements demanding ransoms,so this is not a good sign of today, missions school were the backbone of educations not only in our state,
