Fence Bleaching With Pool Chlorine 

In my particular case, after applying, it got better and better and seemed to somewhat even out for a more smooth or consistent look in a day or so. So no, I didn't rinse. And the grass around the fence came back healthy in a couple of weeks. I'll probably do it again in the early Spring of next year just to be sure to keep that look. Good Luck if you decide to try it. I don't know about plants, shrubs, bushes, etc... since I have no landscaping around my fence. My Bermuda grass turned brown for about a two week period. Roughly about 2 to 3 inches around the bottom of the fence. But after that it came back just as green as ever. I'm back to running the weed eater trimmer at the base of the fence.

Interesting idea. I assume it would work the same, because I did a test section on the inside of my fence before spraying the outside portion that is viewable to all of my neighbors. It brighten up the 2x4's just like it did the fence boards. But don't rely only on just my experiences. I later found other videos on both RU-vid and Instagram of people doing the same thing I did. I will say that I have yet to see anyone mention they weren't pleased with the results. Not saying they aren't out there, but what I viewed was all positive.
