No doubt, If he knew it was backwards, he should have drawn it to match what we were looking at. Figured it out, but still, it's much easier to follow seeing them both from the same aspect.

i m gonna make a video but i don't want to mess up my project by taking the time to do a video, so here it is all complete but you cant see how i did it cause i didn't want to take the time to make the video. But here is the video anyway to waste 7:20 of your life making you more confused then you were when you started the video.

No offence brother but I have all the same options with the addition of one toggle switch and tone mod. Its two mods one is a simple toggle to turn the neck on regardless of whatever else and the other is a small jumper to have tone pot control bridge. 1st position is bridge or toggle and get bridge and neck 2 is bridge and middle or toggle and get all three and the rest are all the same. Maybe Im missing something but isn't that the same thing. I do get confused with all this stuff.
I bought this switch only for bridge and neck together or the three together. In the middle position the 3 pickups, but if I want the bridge and neck, like a les paul?

Looking to do position 1 Bridge Stock position 2 Bridge &Neck position 3 Middle Stock position 4 Middle &neck Stock position 5 neck Stock I'm wanting to do this with stock 5 way switch without using a push/pull or superswitch. After this on the 5 way switch I'll have three empty spots can I add a jumper wire for bridge & neck?
***** Apologies for jumping in here but it's a current hot topic for me. I don't think you can do exactly as you want with a stock 5-way and no additional switch (please correct me if I'm wrong, Woodeso's!) If you want position 1 as Bridge and position 3 as Middle, then position 2 will combine the two. A very simple solution would be to flip the wires from the Neck and Middle pickups to the 5-way, which would give you: position 1 Bridge position 2 Bridge & Neck position 3 Neck position 4 Middle & Neck position 5 Middle So you'd get all of the pickup combinations you want but not necessarily in the "right" order. Are you dead set against a push/pull pot or a mini-toggle? I've wired up a few of my Strat-types with a mini-toggle to give seven switching options, and have just put a set of late 80's Charvette HSS pickups into a Squier (so it's a Squiervette) with two mini-toggles. This gives me eleven switching options with the coil split on the humbucker. It keeps the 5-way selector more "logical" but per this video there's no right and wrong :)
2 versions! The only way to tell if they are any use is to wire em in so 1 spare soldering iron and a mile of solder incase I end up going back to the basic type again.
Hey man can you tell me how to mod the wiring of a blacktop strat so that position 4 is neck split only instead of the stock both pickups outer coils? It's got to be just like one wire clipped but I can't find anything and I've been searching for a week.
Hey your videos are great I watch them when I need some help because you know your SHASTA! Can you do a video for a fender start HH 5 way super switch 1 vol 2 tone pots ? there are no schematics online and if there are there super hard to find and figure out there was one guy who put up a video and every one was following his schematics untill he started getting complaints that it wasn't working for other viewers and he has never checked is work(plug in)! So there was a about 2 months till he updated it but they guy is going so fast alotnofnppl ppl don't know what he's talking about my guess he was tweaking on drug anyway can u do a quick video for that or if you have schematics send me a link thanks -ÖGERBØØGER
