Fender Champion 300 / 30 guitar amp repair and demo

This amp was cranking out noise and had been used as a speaker cabinet by the previous owner. Spoiler alert, there were problems in 2 of the pre amp feedback circuits. My son demos this nice sounding amp at the end. The schematic I used is for the Champion 30 and they seem like the same amp.

I just picked up one of these. The fuse in the mains plug blows every time I plug it in. This video is so thorough, maybe I actually have a chance of repairing or at least diagnosing fault.

Check to see if the output transistors are shorted since the fuse is blowing, make a dim bulb tester it will save you money on fuses

I bought one of these with no amp up top, just the empty cabinet for a Jensen P10R I had, ha. Seems like these might have had some issues......

ROB"S FIXIT SHOP, if the B+ voltage was +450vdc normal but was modified to B+600vdc why would this raise increase the AC ripple voltage? for fender amp if you REMOVE pull out the normal chans first preamp tube the vibratos chan preamp will have more voltage output and wattage, why is that?
