The latest in our long, illustrious lineage of killer Wildwood 10's have arrived. These sonic sledgehammers have monster tone and killer vibe. If you've ever longed for a guitar that marries vintage soul to modern ergonomics, your dream has come true! They are only available at Wildwood Guitars, and we are mighty proud of them. As Greg Koch often says when demonstrating these delectable morsels of tonal savagery, "come and feast!"
Greg Fessler came to the Fender Custom Shop in 1990 and worked his way up through the ranks as an apprentice. He assisted with the Robben Ford signature line of guitars, eventually became the sole builder of those instruments, and finally wound up becoming Ford’s personal guitar-maker. Fessler has built one-off Stratocaster and Telecaster models for a host of players, including Joe Bonnamasa, Jeff Healey, Hank Marvin, John Mayer, Rhonda Smith, Neil Schon and Pete Wentz. Fessler’s remarkable abilities have earned him accolades from many Fender artists and discerning customers worldwide, and every instrument he builds exemplifies the meticulous attention to detail and intense commitment it takes to earn the title of Master Builder.

Oh hell yeah, that's the OD sound we've been missing. Less fuzz, more of the guitars own tone coming through. Yessir.

I could hear that Tone King brightness immediately. I like that overdrive sound much more than the Friedman

How do you guys know he's playing through a BB Preamp into the Tone King on this video? He doesn't mention it at all nor does the info section? It does certainly sound like it- absolutely beautiful tone... but how do you know?

Do my ears deceiveth me? That's not a good OD tone, is it? I'm shocked. What a difference compared to the harsh fizz spewed out by the SB50. Nice work!

Where does the "Seafoam Green" name come from? The name on the '60s Fender custom color charts was "Foam Green."

Constable 1976 i Fender claims that the relicking helps the sound escape from the wood and leap into the pickups.

04:28 I know you messed up the Layla riff and started noodling to pretend like you meant it! You may have fooled the others but I'm on to you!

It was a rarity, indeed. Almost shocking. He made up for it.

I believe he can take any wrong note somewhere pretty good because he'll repurpose it. Theory, man!

I can't knock him for it really. A mess up like that and I would run for the hills in shame! My guitar wouldn't come with me either! 😔

Sounds way better without that friedman you can actually hear what the guitar sounds like when overdriven now

I do not like the intentional relicing process. My whole life I've tried to take care of my guitars because the condition of that guitar was important and judged in the market. Also It's fraudulent to give a guitar age so to speak
