The description says this is a 'Test' of the guitar - well it PASSED the test for sure! I cannot see why some dislike the thineline Tele, they sound great and are a nice weight. Maybe the tone is too warm for traditional Tele players, or they experience feedback at high gain?
I have the exact same guitar (actually I'm selling it) you can see it it my videos here on YT. It's never went into feedback on loud situations on me. It's not that it's warmer, it just has more "air" in it's sound and that's what softens it a bit. Plus, the Noiseless pickups tend to sound a little warmer as well.
Dimitris Aivaliotis it’s hard to say. I don’t know what you have already. I think the new Fender Noiseless sound great. But I’m also a big fan of Lolar pickups. On the the other hand, turning the tone knob down on any guitar warms up any pickup!
I have one. It’s awesome. Except after 8 years, I can’t find out which generation Noiseless pups I have in there. Fender can’t tell me. I THINK it’s Gen 2 because the lettering is italic.
I would have to try a standard telecaster beside a thinline one to be able to choose one, but since I have my strat that serves me awesomly, and I don’t yet have won the lottery, I’ll stick to my awesome stratocaster
January 18, 2018: Does anyone know? I have read one review that there is still humming, because of the hollow body, even thought they are noiseless pickups.
I have this guitar and have no issues with humming. Stays in tune perfectly. The playability is amazing. I mean check out the sounds this guy has got out of it! Sounds fab through Orange and MARSHALL analogue amps. Not tried it through any others except a line6 digital.
