What I like most about your playing is the dynamics. Whether it's the soft sweet jazz chords, jangly rock or lead. You are one of most versatile guitarists I've seen. When you are playing with the other guys at Andertons you really listen to what they are doing and compliment them so well. Hope to catch you in Canada sometime!

Another fabulous lesson from the master. Thanks Pete. On the fretboard oiling front, use Crimson's specially developed oil, or get purified refined linseed oil from your local artists supplies store. Whichever you choose, DON'T use lemon oil! As Dave says (Dave's World of Fun Stuff) petroleum based chemicals should not be applied to your fretboard!

The hammer on from the root to 9 after the minor third is very Prince-esque. Almost like a keyboard riff.

The sound is way better from the mic of the camera. The ambient sound shows the differences in tone, volume, dynamics and etc. If the purpose is to show the sound on the room, use only a ambient mic or the camera mic. Perfect for the job. It is like I'm in the room with you. Use only this from now on

Hi Pete, I am sure you are busy and probably won't reply,but it's worth a try. I heard and saw Tom Jones from a distance on a screen at an Australian bluesfest. I was very impressed with every song I heard and the musicianship of everyone in the band that night-as world class as it gets. Were you the guitar player for that tour? Someone on an andertons vid mentioned you were his guitar player at some point. If that was you, then well done

Hey Pete, I have also just bought a Monterey Strat and would like to have the same finish of the fretboard as yours. You mentioned that you used "Crimson Fretboard Oil". Just to be sure: did you mean Crimson finishing oil? Because the only 2 things Crimson has is "Fretboard and restorative cleaner" and "Finishing oil", I would really like to know! Thanks in advance!@

Hello Peter, the Crimson fret board oil you put on, is it available at Andertons? Is it any different then Dunlop formula 65 lemon oil?

Pete if you ever needing some more income, and if you have the time, you need to go the Paul Gilbert route and do some one on one teaching online. It appears that you have a market there after reading these comments.
