Got the same in the Redondo, both are amazing and beautiful guitars, the Redondo is a semi dreadnought so not too large which also suits me. Newporter was my other option magnificent guitar as well.
Mine is Mid-night Wine, painted back & sides to look like wood. Guitar Center $300. Sounds OK (a little tinny), like it plugged in best. Yours looks real nice. Thanks!
Dude! You're great at guitar. Don't be down on your skill. I played around with one of these today. It was $125USD. I went with Takamine instead, but I am having some regret. I really didn't like the finish of the one I played today though. It was black and then that a huge fan of those kinds of looks. Thanks for the review. 🇵🇭
Hello, I noticed you mentioned it was very hard to find the natural color. I want to get mine from the US because I can't find it anywhere in my country, especially many years after their release. One of the colors you didn't mention was olive satin, which is the one I'm looking for. Any pointers as to what I can do to get one? I was thinking of asking for this model on retailers inside the US and ship it somehow.
You might wanna try your luck with Sweetwater in the US and/or Anderton’s in the UK, as I’m pretty sure they both ship guitars internationally. Your only issue might be shipping costs, so I’d also recommend waiting for a sale. Hope that helps!
Fabulous review! Really informative ! I am trying to decide between the CD-140SCE and this Newporter. Would you have any thoughts on which one to go for ?
Realistically speaking, there isn’t that much of a difference between the two models other than body size and aesthetic. I personally chose the Newporter because I absolutely loved its slimmer body shape, in addition to its Stratocaster-style headstock. Had I not been looking for these two factors, I have a feeling I would’ve considered the CD-140SCE as a possible alternative, as well. Hope this helps!
@@enzokko I bought one online and then I started panic, I looked for bad reviews, comparing similar guitars. But I’m happy to see you enjoying it and hearing it not having buzz at higher frets. I personally love the design and I pray that the one I got would have a great quality, so I can stop worrying😂
If I’m not mistaken, the Special and Classic versions are both higher-end than the Player model, either due to their special finish, upgraded onboard tech, or both. Hope this helps!
hey man, greetings from argentina!!! i'm saving money to buy this guitar, you really recommend it to me? i have been playing guitar for 11 years and i looking for something amateur-pro
Of course! Even though I haven’t been playing guitar for as long as you have, I only have good things to say about the Newporter, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new acoustic guitar. Hope that helps!
Hey bro!!! I finally bought this guitar, it is really beautiful, I thank you again for your video and for giving me the confidence to buy it, I highly recommend this guitar!
