I have an Ultra Strat w/ the noiseless pups as well. I have noticed the clean tones aren't as punchy as I'd like for them to be at times. I don't necessarily need the tone to be brighter, but if there's more punch to the cleans then it might be worth trying out
The Noiseless is essentially a stacked humbucker. It’s Fenders way of making a humbucker sound as close to a single coil. Yes the single coil might sound better but it still has its 60cycle hum. Great video!!
Love your channel. I will see as a Strat player. I’ve used the stock pick ups from an 80s strut my entire life and last couple years I’ve been playing worship I noticed they weren’t cutting through the sound. I switched him out to the text and I have to say I was completely blown away Setting has individual sound. I feel like I’ve denied my Strat using years of good quality sound. My Tex-Mex pickups are like a machete in the jungle and sounds so clean. I got many compliments from the staff and audience. Just curious if you’ve ever tried those before.
I haven’t tried fender noise less pick ups but have heard them on videos and they also seem muffled like the clarity was lacking. The lambs definitely have clarity especially in single note playing and arpeggios. At least to my ears , Great video as always .
I've used a several different noiseless pickups from Fender and others. I also have a set of Triple Shots. This is truly a case where I can't use the word "better". I find the Triple shots to be prettier and more delicate but I also find the noiseless to be more of a full frequency pickup. I pick between the guitars based on the song list. If it is prettier and delicate I go with the Triple Shots but if it is more a rocking list I use the noiseless. Also, I have the Ilitch Hum Cancelling system in my guitar with the Triple shots. It isn't as quiet as the noiseless but probably 80% quieter then just standard single coils. What do they call a guitarist that refuses to use noiseless pickups? "Unemployed".
