Epic comparison video between 3 different eras of Fender Precision bass.
1954 single coil, sunburst finish strung with Labella Flats
1964 split coil, sunburst finish, strung with labella flats
1974 split coil, sunburst finish, strung with Ernie Ball rounds
I tried to catch all the little difference in tone , playing em with finger style and slap technique, tone fully opened, 50% and off.

Great comparison video Andy. 64 for finger style and 74 for slap would be my choice!

I think all 3 are great, but I give a slight edge to the 64. The 74 sounds great as well, but I believe it has the edge in tone for slap, because of the round wounds.
