Great review, Eric. Thanks. My DeLonge Strat went back to Fender. Fret board was really dry, neck pocket needed adjustment, but the real problem was the stripped screw on the humbucker. Interested in this guitar, so I’ll go try one. Are these MIM produced?

Man, I'm on the fence between one of these or the strat...thoughts between the two playing them?

I'm not a blink 182 fan but I like the look of this guitar. Fender doesn't make a lot of semi hollows.

I just picked one up and am very happy with it. i also own a Gibson 335, a D'Angelico Excel DC, a late 60s early 70s teisco semi hollowbody, and a Ben Weinman signature ESP/LTD . So what im saying is I have a decent group of guitars to compare this guitar to. The gibson resonates the loudest of the bunch, but the TD starcaster easily holds its own. The single pickup seems limiting, but with the treble bleed circuit and a good sounding amp, you get way more than you would think. One thing that jumps out at me is how much of a tank this thing feels like. With the satin finish, fingerprint grease isn't visible, and its probably less prown to micro scratches or swerling. id love to one day own the TD Gibby, but that thing is absolutely STUPID expensive. I have a 335 and while i definately can get more tonal range out of it, i don't notice that huge of a quality difference. Definitely a great guitar! Glad I picked one up... Pretty in Pink,,,,,,

great song choices! I got one a few weeks ago and I really dig it. I'm coming from a telecaster thinline deluxe, so I'm finding some riffs just don't sound quite right after some significant amp tweaking, so I'm probably going to have to switch guitars for different songs, but I'm really liking this guitar for the songs I'm using it for

I’m with you dude. I love the starcasters existence more than I do the actually guitar, as it means toms back with fender. But I really don’t get the gut feeling of “THATS COOL!” Like I did when I was 14 and the original start was released (but that could be because I’m also a lot older now) 😂🤘🤘😊
