This video was very helpful, I have changed what I had on both bedside tables and now have candles on each one and a small pair of ducks on one bedside table and a salt lamp on the other bedside table and bedside lamps on both. I also added a wealth jar on the far left hand corner of the room. Hope I have done the right thing!
Thanks Patricia. This video helped really me. I love Buddhas and I had one in my bedroom facing towards my bed. I now have removed it!! Also I had some photos of my girls on a dresser, I also removed these to. Yay!! :)
Hi Patricia, I just found your videos and love them. I am now a subscriber 🥰. The 1st thing I did was to take my Mud boots out from under my bed lol. I live in a 2 story tiny house, so finding creative ways to store things can be a challenge at times, but your videos have really helped. Thank you. 😊
@raveformore thank you so much for subscribing and for your kind words! I'm thrilled to hear that my videos have been helpful to you. Storing things in a tiny house can definitely be a challenge, but it sounds like you're already off to a great start😊 Happy organizing! 😍😊
Thank you for choosing Seahorse Natural Therapies Retreat for your Great Ocean Road trip getaway! You Patricia for such an informative and motivational video. I need to clean out the draws in my bed base , as I have shoes and old tapes in them.
Hi Patricia, what am I going to take out of my bedroom.....ooohhh...so much. I have a printer in there and my father's old diaries (he died in 2007)...so much is coming out..thank you...great video...you are so good..👍
Thank you so much for creating this video when achieving that optimal placement isn't possible. This is the first info on RU-vid or Google I've found in 2 hours ❤
Hi Patricia It is just so good to hear from you definitely I'll will follow your advise , & I will love to have your video regarding Feng Shui Bedroom- A realistic Approach, Kind Regards, Maggie
Hi Patricia, it's a very informative video and all of that is my "Oh Oh" moment!! My bedroom is where I've got everything, I mean...it's my bedroom, my office, my spiritual place and storage. I know I've got loads to declutter :-O. I've got three questions. 1) Is it bad to have only one bedside furniture? May I've got two of different sizes? 2) Do I need to have something green and yellow in it? The majority colour is red, light pink, purple, white and beech. 3) Do I need to use any multifaceted cristal pendulum to balancing the Chi?
Hi Fatima.:) All of this is just a starting point. You do what you can as best that suits your room. The colors are dependent on a much more specific Feng Shui process. I do recommend calm neutral colors in the bedroom.
hi Patricia! i'm reading The Happy Home right now and loving it! i have a question - i still live at home with my parents but am wanting to feng shui my bedroom. can i make a floorplan of my bedroom and map it out to get the guas of my room? or does this only work for the floor plans or my entire house? thanks! ❤
@avacadenhead7138 Hi there! 😊 I’m so thrilled to hear you’re loving *The Happy Home*-that makes my heart sing! 🌸💖 Yes, you absolutely can Feng Shui your **bedroom** and create a floor plan just for that space! 🌿✨ Even though you’re still living with your parents, your bedroom is your personal sanctuary, so it’s super powerful to align the energy in that specific area. You can map out the **guas** (the energy zones) of your bedroom just like you would for an entire house. The Bagua map can totally be applied to a single room, and you’ll use the door as the starting point, just like you would for the whole house. 🚪✨ For example, when you walk into your bedroom, the **far left corner** will be your wealth area, and the **far right corner** will be your relationship area, and so on. By focusing on your bedroom’s energy, you can create an oasis of harmony, abundance, and support-even within a larger home! 🌿🌟 So go ahead and map out your bedroom’s guas and start transforming the energy right there. You’ll feel the shifts flow into all areas of your life, even if the rest of the house hasn’t been Feng Shui’d yet. 💖 Wishing you so much joy and abundance as you bring balance into your space! 🌸😊💫
Hi :) I'm not sure I quite understand the question but if there are two doors opposite each other try and break up the energy by placing something between them, like a plant.
Great info. Our wealth area is in our bedroom we where going to get the goddess of fortuna statue. If not a good idea we would love to know what else we can put here
Thank you so much for your fabulous insightful video and podcasts. I’ve been following your checklist and was surprised to see no plants in the bedroom. I have loads!! I was wondering why they shouldn’t be there and if there is anything I can do to be able to keep them there. Thank you 💖
@tanyahulse5408 great question! All your Feng Shui needs to be within the walls of your home, not on your porch. It's also worth noting that the gua that relates to wealth and abundance is the South-East, not the South. Hope that helps! ☺❤
@@tanyahulse5408 my apologies. About your question - Plants have a very strong, active, growing energy which we don't recommend in the bedroom as the bedroom should be dedicated to rest, relaxation, and romance. The best place for plants is somewhere that you want activity, like the SE gua (wealth and abundance) or the North Gua (career and life's journey). ☺❤
Hello Patricia, thank you for the checklist, it's fantastic and I am totally using it. I have a question about the bed, is it okay to have a white bedspread/quilt on the bed?
Hi Debra, delighted to hear that you're enjoying the checklist. ❤😍 White bedspread sounds fine. As part of my PowerHouse Program, we consult people of the right colors for their bedroom that actually is dependent. It is to spoke to the house but if you like, that is okay.
My bedroom is definitely set up for rest, relaxing and romance; however; we have mirrored wardrobe doors along the entire wall facing our bed. I’ve placed crystals on both sections of mirror. Is that all I can do?
Hi Francie - could you cover the mirrors in some way? Maybe with sheer net curtains or static cling obscuring film? I've also heard about people turning the wardrobe doors around but that would depend on your doors so I'm not sure how practical that is! I've got a sheet net curtain across mine so I can still use it as a full length mirror in case that is a consideration! Xx💫💫#teampowerhouse
My bedroom door opens basically at the foot of my bed... you open the door and if you were to walk straight, you’d walk into my bed! What would you suggest to slow or divert the Qi?
Question about pets in the bedroom: I have 2 female cats who prefer sleeping near me at night, and I have set up a large cat perch for them at the window left of the king size bed, and kitty steps at the bottom. They are free to come and go from the room as they please, but I don't want to lock them out. Am I creating negative energy?
Hi Rania! Can you try and section off an area as a bedroom? Maybe with a screen or curtain? Or even with strategically places furniture? The Feng Shui we practice is very ancient and traditional when we work with individual homes but even within that there can be very powerful intentional elements too and how one perceives a space can make a huge difference! I how that helps! Let us know if you have any queries! Xx💫💫#teampowerhouse
Hi, what about my vision board. I keep it in the bedroom and look at it as i enter the room, the last thing i see when turning off the light and the 1st thing in the morning. Thanks
Hi Jeanette :) I don't recommend keeping your vision board in your bedroom because its energy is way too much. You can put it somewhere you can see it regularly but not in the bedroom all the time.
@madeleineericsson7951, we cannot advise without doing a full analysis of your home but if you follow the recommendations in the video this will be hugely supportive for you. ☺❤
Hi Patricia My bedroom has two walls with windows.. so as you walk in the bedroom on the right is my built inns .. as you look straight and left that’s where the windows are the only wall is right next to the door as you walk in on your left.. so do I move my bed to the left wall then my head will be aligned with the door?? Can you please help 🙏🙏🙂 lol I’ve decided my bed alone 3 times so far and it’s starting to feel really nice.. you don’t realise what you have until you start 🤦♀️🤪 oh and I’ve made space for my man I don’t have woohoo 🙌🏼
Can I please ask what to do? I share my bedroom with my kids as they are still little and don't want to sleep in their own room. My daughter is sleeping in her bed in the same room but my son is sharing my bed with me as he is still scared to sleep in his own bed and room which is at the moment used as room for drying laundry. Please help and oh at the moment I am in the process of painting my room so all three of us sleeping in the spare room.
Hi Lucia! Thank you for your query! I think a lot of that will require working with your children as individuals to grow their confidence sleeping by themselves however from a feng shui perspective the first thing to do is to make your son's room into his room and move the laundry somewhere else in the house to make space for your son. This will let the universe/divine/source/god (delete as applicable) know that you'd like your son to move into his room. And do the same for your daughter's room. The house won't let them move out of your room if they haven't got anywhere else to go. Also, I don't know how old your children are but have you spoken to them about sleeping in their own rooms? Could they share a room to begin with then move into different rooms further down the line? Too could also write out some affirmations along those lines. For example 'I'm so grateful my children are happy and sleeping well in their own bedrooms.' Or something else that feels good. Just remember that affirmations should be in the present tense, and always positive. I hope that helps! Let us know if we can help any more and keep watching!! Xx💫💫#teampowerhouse
Hello is there a reason why I might be having nightmares suddenly ? I recently added a new wooden pantry in my bedroom for some items like storage of bags etc and there is already a wooden wardrobe. But since I did I am having nightmares. I also covered the mirror facing my bed with a white sheet at this time too. Thanks in advance
@waterfallsofparadisetrinid25 Have a look to see there are no pointy edges from the new wooden pantry pointing at your head causing a poison arrow effect . And if you can do a space clearing with sage/palo santo/ sound that will be hugely helpful to clear out any unsettled energy after the changes . And let us know how you go. 😍🤩
I will remove the exercise equipment. Unfortunately my bedroom is so small, there is only space for 1 bedside table. If I move it closer to the cupboard to have a bedside table on the other side, the cupboard won't open. It will always be unbalanced, which I guess is not good.
Hi @leonilombard5687 I completely understand your concern! 🌸✨ While balance is a key principle in Feng Shui, sometimes we have to work with what we’ve got, and that’s totally okay! 😊💖 The fact that you’re aware of the energy in your space already means you’re halfway to creating a harmonious bedroom. Here’s what you can do to **bring balance** without stressing over that second bedside table: 1. **Work with symmetry**: If adding a second table isn’t possible, don’t worry! You can create a sense of balance in other ways. Place a **lamp, plant, or soft decor** on the one side that doesn’t have a table. This creates visual balance and ensures the energy still flows nicely around the bed. 🌿✨ 2. **Keep the energy flowing**: It’s more important that your **cupboard opens freely** and you feel comfortable in the space. A cramped room with blocked doors would block energy and feel more stuck. So, having one bedside table that doesn’t interfere with the cupboard is a much better option! 💖 3. **Be intentional**: You can place something soft and grounding (like a small crystal or plant) on the other side of the bed or even under the bed. This helps to **balance the energy** symbolically, even if you can’t have a physical table there. 🌸✨ Remember, Feng Shui is about **flow and comfort**. As long as your space feels good to you and allows energy to move freely, you’re creating a harmonious environment. 💫😊 You’re doing amazing, and these small adjustments will help your bedroom feel balanced and serene! 💖✨
Just a question. I have a window behind my bed and there is no option to change my bed position. What should I do about that. Also my bedroom currently is in the s/e corner of the house and the window is in the s/e corner of the room. Would a blue voile or curtain be a good option. I am limited as I am in a rental xx
Hi Lolo, If there is no alternative, then as an absolute minimum, you need a solid headboard to provide the support you need. The colour curtain is dependent on your home's personal report. Recommend sticking to neutral colours
My partner and I prefer to sleep in separate bedrooms is there any tips for both bedrooms 😂I feel like ours both reflect us but mine has art of a vagina is that bad? Maybe I should put a picture of us in both bedrooms.
Sleeping in separate bedrooms is fine if that works for you as a couple as having your own space is very important but I would still have things in there in pairs and yes, you could add a picture of you as a couple. 🙂
