just updated Fenix. Opened GSX installer, went to config and comes up with error and won't let me clear it, had to close it via task manager. Any ideas?
@GregAbott-sl2bo hmmm. Then I suppose you also completely reject the outside model of the aircraft as well, seeing as it is not necessary?? You are completely wrong. The immersion packs add a lot of immersion. Short and sweet. makes a lot of new things possible THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS IN REAL LIFE
Hi Gavin, after the update I did the unticking and ticking rhe fenix a320 in the GSX configuration and the seated passangers works fine but now the catering and cargo services do not start saying “open the doors” again and again eventhough the correct doors are open. Any ideas? Thank you..
Hey Gavin. You mention in this video that we can now chose between two electric hydraulic systems (Vickers or Parker I believe). Can you please let me know where you change this. I checked both the EFB and MCDU, but could not find anything...unless I misunderstood. Thanks :)
I did the update. Everything went smooth. Did a 2 hour flight no problem. Today I woke up to do another flight and I don’t have the fénix aircraft anymore on my msfs. Any ideas ? I have it installed it’s on my community folder. Any help would be nice. Thanks
Doesn’t the real world wind speed sensor utilize the aircraft heading and true airspeed compared with the ground track and ground speed? Once you are airborne, how could it detect wind speed because you are moving with the wind?

@@stevenriady2127@ stevenriady2127 I don't know if it is perfect but it works better. Don´t calibrate the rudders under Windows. This causes brake issues as the brake is going immediately to 50%. I just installed the actual drivers and calibrated them with T.RJ12_USB_TPR_Calibration_Tool(V2.12)
Thanks for the video! Love the new sounds although some of it may need some tweaking! Overall it’s amazing what Fenix does and I will buy everything they produce as long as they commit to the quality work! Can’t wait for the a319/321 package! A first day buy for me!
I hope fenix team will fix bleeds page problem with incorrect indication when bleed is switch off.. the high stage valve should also close... Faults sometime takes too much time to indicate when pulling cb... E/wd incorrect display with regards to ECU/EEC power... sometime it always show fadec is with power... Gives wrong indication... Maybe if they will see this findings... Nothing too serious.. but if you are looking at wrong indications it might have a big impact to you one day... Cheers!😊
Need to fix the flight control indicators, the real plane does not indicate all the way to the squares on ailerons. Don't fly it much, but performance is better.
I have the Fenix as it was so good for my RU-vid content but suddenly the ADI doesn’t work. It’s almost like it’s lagging behind the actual attitude of the aircraft
CTD here, not had one of those for a few years! Tried it with a bunch of addons, going to try in Vanilla mode tomorrow, usually takes a few tweaks to get things working again.
I've been flying it since the update released late last week, and I have noticed a difference in handling - both on takeoff and on landing, which are much smoother and comfortable now. There were times prior to this latest update that the plane seemed to get stuck when trying to takeoff, and then it would jerk left and right as if something was restraining it on the ground, or if it was cutting through wires or other obstructions, even though there were none. And on landing, it would be a bit too slow to respond to stick movements at times. That tends to happen to 3rd party aircraft when MS updates its features, and we've received a number of them since the last Fenix update. PMDG's aircraft also behaved oddly at times as well until they sent out an update. But the Fenix behaves much better now, and I also love the new reverser sounds as well. It's great to hear that rumble behind you, which wasn't there in previous editions.
Thank you Gavin for summing it up. Just tested the new WU for the UK and was blown away flying from Dublin to London City with the E190. And now just another great about for the Fenix for some more trips in/out of the UK.
@@JayJay360xI actually solved the problem: I have the simulator installed on a Windows account, that is not an administrator account. When I checked the log file for the installer, I noticed, that it tried to find the usercfg.opt file in C:\Users\[my admin account]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache although the file was actually located in C:\Users\[account with simulator]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache So what I did was to copy the usercfg.opt file from C:\Users\[account with simulator]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache to C:\Users\[my admin account]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\ (I think this is only needed in order for the installer to be able to detect the simulator and for the installation) After copying the file into the location, the installer opened and I could Install the aircraft with no problem. I hope, this works for you as well!
Flew it yesterday. Performance was good, but it was the first time I didn't have a ToD marker on the ND. Not sure if I forgot to do something as I have never experienced it before. Will try and do another flight over the week to see if it is the same
quick update after this update i am having a problem with windows defender firewall so as i was playing the sim it says there is a virus in the files and it has sadly got rid of some of the files that makes the EFB not turn on idk why this is but if anyone is having this problem please tell me or ask me a solution
Did you turn off defender during install? And exclude the Fenix folder install location? Probably a good idea to do the later for all FlightSim software.
Hi Gavin what capture software do you use for your videos game bar is pretty good accept you can’t record vatsim audio from a headset separate to the surround sound I have
@@zk9058 lol irl bit different to a sim tho, sure the weights are different along with luggage capacity and stuff, that should not take long to do in a sim, take the inibuilds a310 for example, they released the a300 pretty quickly because most of it was the same as its smaller counterpart so not much needed to be done, surely it’s the same here
Theyve spent too many workcycles on what I understand is changing the framework used to make future updates easier, quicker and better… and in doing so they defeated the whole purpose of it.
@@Sheepie1985 I am aware but other developers have come out with completely fresh planes in the time fenix have been taking to make variants of the 320
