Yes, i agree. It could be a little tighter on the rail. I set it for max power when its on the rifle.

Yes the light is still going! I’m on my second lens as my first one was shot out at an indoor match, so I’ve added a lens cover…. The rifle is still going strong and works best on 11.1v lipo

I’d need to rewatch my video to see which one I used, but it was either the CRKT M16-14SF, or the CRKT Liong Mah #5 👍 You’ll like the flashlight kit. If you are using it for airsoft make sure you make a lens cover as mine got smashed, but luckily MyFenix UK replaced it free of charge under the warranty.

I’ve not tried the ALG-05 Mount yet. Works fine using Velcro for what I use it for. If you wanted something more permanent then the Mount would be a good option.

I quite like having the focussed beam. I guess it depends on your preference. If you already have the torch you could give it a go and see if you like it? My shooting is below 100m as it’s on my .22 S&W 15-22 or I use it for CQB practice using an airsoft rifle.

It’s the tail switch they are a nice rifle light

No it doesn’t slip. The teeth lock into the grooves on the rail so it’s not going anywhere. There is a bit of wobble (as you can see in the video) as the mount locks in by the teeth and doesn’t screw onto the rail (if that makes sense). I bought the mount as it was made specifically or the Fenix flashlight, but there are probably other options out there. I used it in my airsoft rifle for CQB the other weekend and had no issues at all. I’ll also be using it on my .22 semi auto for practical rifle comps when they have dark stages.

The Fenix quick release mount fits onto a picatinny rail, so you can mount an m-loc pic rail and then mount the flashlight to that 👍
