A mother shares her story of losing her 19 year old son to fentanyl poisoning.
After losing her 19 year old son, Cameron, to fentanyl poisoning, Becky felt the urgency to warn others of this dangerous drug. She has taken the pain of losing her son and has turned it into a passion for raising awareness about the dangers of fentanyl through her non-profit organization, A Change For Cam. Becky’s journey has taken her to DEA Headquarters in our Nation's Capital, the Texas Capitol as well as schools, communities, and organizations across the state of Texas, all in an effort to help save lives. Naloxone, the active ingredient in 4mg Narcan and higher dose 8mg Kloxxado, along with many generic versions, can reverse an opioid overdose if administered quickly enough. Some areas have Naloxone available for free. Google it.
