Lost my stepson at age 19. This past July 22nd was 4 years since he passed. My bio son smokes weed and came across something laced with Fentanyl. He developed a problem and came to tell us. He is 22 and sober now but it is TERRIFYING!!! I ALREADY KNOW. ONE SLIP UP, it is probably safer to play Russian Roulette. I HATE FENTANYL and what its doing to our country. There’s nothing more heartbreaking than hearing someone talk about their loved ones in the past tense. I’m so truly sorry. Her brother did not pass in vain. Continue to honor your loved ones and share their stories. We are a village and a community lifting up and honoring all victims of fentanyl poisoning. Anyone dealing this deadly and illicit drug should be prosecuted and punished dearly for their actions!

My brother was murdered August 8, 1997. I’m still devastated and traumatized by his murder. You never get over the loss, you just learn to live with it.

When a person is addicted to opioids they have to have more opioids. They're not thinking they're gonna die with the next pill, they are thinking they are gonna die without the next pill.

And I thank his sister for telling us, telling everyone the story of her lovely and smart brother who passed away way too soon! Cesar could have been theoretically my own son, and that‘s one of the more scary things to see and read: The year they were born and the year they passed away 😧 I guess I would have liked him cause we do or sadly did have something in common: Reading books! How many people do know the author „Clive Cussler“? This is my most favorite writer/author and I‘ve read every book he wrote at least three to four times, and then at least a few hundred books more. But I did grow up in a time with no internet, no cell phones and barely any computers around. So what you gonna do? Exactly: Read books! Cesar‘s passing was, as any other video on this channel showed, another unnecessary death and I really hope that justice will be served, but I doubt it tbh 😳 Again, thanks to anybody involved and again especially @Texas Pictures Documentaries for making this video and publish it to raise awareness! We don't want to be addicts. But it's so hard once you have become an addict to get away from drugs. Believe me, we love you all. We just try to feel "normal" we don't want to be sick. If it were not for buprenorphine my husband and I would have died. I 100%believe that with my whole soul. We would have died. And I thank God every day for the buprenorphine. I am not promoting it by any means but it truly saved us.

My best friend lost her brother to a fentanyl OD 2yrs ago. The pain I watched her and her mother go through that night and still today is unimaginable and breaks my heart. He had been clean for over 3 months because he was in jail and 5 days after he got released he was given something laced with fentanyl and was gone in an instant. No family should ever have to experience that pain

I hear you girl like 1000%. I had a father who dealt with addiction, his whole life but as someone who has battled with addiction myself, we know when we buy pills that they may or may not be what people say they are.. I know when people die it somehow alleviate some of the pain to be able to point the finger at someone else but if I’m being 1000% real when you abuse substances past a certain point, it’s a slow death. And we know that.

I’m sorry. This is very sad. What did your brother OD on the other times? The people who are the kindest and purest are also the most sensitive. It’s hard to be a sensitive person in todays world. My son died at 22 and he was very smart and would help anyone. Beautiful person. This sounds bad to people but I’m glad my son is at peace and doesn’t have to deal with this very cruel world. I see people suffer everyday and I’m so happy he is safe.

I’m going through the same journey she went through with her brother. My little brother has severe PTSD from our childhood then from going to war. he is now in and out of rehab and i’m just trying to be here for him.😞 my brothers smile is literally my favorite and i desperately don’t want him to go through this either. all we can do is pray 😞🙏🏼

Hi sister, I lost my brother too, it’s an unbreakable bond, our brother, our best friend, our everything, and to answer your question how will you and your family overcome this, you won’t, we are broken and there is absolutely zero fixing it, but you will however learn to live with it, august makes 10 years that my sweet brother left us, and I’m still saying it’s not fair, and why MY brother, he had the hugest heart, I had him for 34 years and that’s it, he’s gone and he’s never coming back and it sucks everyday, our whole lives have changed , but from one sister to another, I feel your pain, I cried with you this entire video and my heart goes out to you sending you my love, hugs, and prayers ❤

I have talked to my son and daughter about if anyone of your friends offer you to try drugs that person is not a friend you keep away, I tell them what happen to me, never would I hang out with those people.

Vessel death is a guarantee, your brother didn’t die…his vessel expired ❤️ took me 25+ years to understand this important truth…I asked so many questions about my dads death when I was 12 years old…if only I knew then it was his vessel that expired and we are only here for a short time on the earth. There is much more to it all and we get deceived into thinking this human experience is all we have ❤️ lean on God 🙂❤️

I’m so sorry for your loss, the loss of your brother,the loss of your innocence, the loss of your childhood, you have had a lot of trauma, abandonment, grief and tragedy and you and your siblings deserved more. I understand you, I have experienced all of that and my childhood was so much like yours and my siblings are in active addiction, I was once there myself. You are right, it is genetic disposition and your brother didn’t ask for it, none of you asked for the parents you got, me either. Both of my parents have since been murdered, more trauma. Keep remembering and sharing about your childhood and your brother, it will help, pain shared is pain lessened. 💕
