A mother shares her story of losing her 19-year-old daughter to fentanyl poisoning.
Naloxone, the active ingredient in 4mg Narcan and higher dose 8mg Kloxxado, along with many generic versions, can reverse an opioid overdose if administered quickly enough. Some areas have Naloxone available for free. Google it.

The fact that Andrea has not blamed the boyfriend and still keeps in touch with him shows you what a great mom she is. I wish I had been there to help my baby girl and it haunts me every day that I let her down again and in the worst way. I'd die just to be able to spend one day with her 💕. I almost lost my husband to fentanyl- I heard him snoring deeply and thought it sounded weird. I went in to check on him- and he would not respond to me. He was prescribed fentanyl by his doctor for back pain 20 years ago when this occured. So, I called 911- they told me to get rid of the fentanyl, which I did. Glad I checked on him. So very sorry for your loss. Makes me really sad to hear these stories- also makes me really mad that this is going on with this deadly drug.
@maritzagonzalez1284

OMG I went through the same thing 14 years ago. My husband always snored loud so I thought it was the usual snoring but when I move him (when it gets too loud) he usually stops for a few seconds but that night he didn’t. I kept moving him and telling him you’re too loud. Stop snoring. But nothing, he kept snoring loud. I finally looked at him and that’s when I noticed something white dripping from the corner of his mouth. I went crazy. Kept calling out he’s name and yelling please please wake up. Nothing. I called 911 and in 4 minutes they were at my door. Meanwhile the lady was helping me do CPR because he can’t hardly breathe.It took 4 syringes to get him to throw up and they got him up (barely). They took him to the hospital and he died 2 times before I got to see him that night. It was one of the worst day of my life. Every time I hear him snoring I quickly check on him, which is every night all night long. My doctor believes I have PTSD due to that event that night.the pill he took that night were prescribed by he’s doctor to help with the tear of he’s ligaments on he’s shoulder. While he was serving in the ARMY over seas he’s shoulder got hurt. We need to be very careful and aware.
@geriking516

@@maritzagonzalez1284 my husband served in the Army, too. The VA took him off fetanyl, and he started taking morphine sulfate, instead. He is no longer on any pain relievers now- instead, he uses CBD that you get from smoke shops, and that helps. I am so glad he stopped using fentanyl- Im not sure he would still be here if he didn't quit.

It‘s so sad, every time when I watch a new clip of „Fentanyl Poisoning“ 😢 To see the parents struggle with the completely unnecessary death of her son/daughter, it‘s hard to watch. But those clips are so important. If these clips only save ONE LIFE, they all were worth it! So thx for making these clips and letting us parents and our children learn from that! I‘m a father of two sons, 10 and 8 years old, and I cannot imagine if I would lose one of my sons to that drug (or any drug). Again: Thx to „Texas Pictures Documentaries“ and all the best from Germany 🇩🇪, Philipp

Phillip, please be aware of a fentanyl based narcotic known as "Pyro" that stemmed out of the UK and expanding outwards currently that is up to 40% more deadly than the Mexican fentanyl, first cases of this evil narcotic has been reported in both Ireland and Germany alike. I am English and currently reside in Florida as I hold citizenship in both countries alike since birth so with the lost of loved ones and friends, I keep up to date on these new deadly narcotics today for awareness purposes from fentanyl, ISO, Tranq, Benzodope to carfentanyl in which is 100% more toxic than Mexican fentanyl and the absolute worse there is on the city streets. The narcotics known on European streets like yours to be aware of is called *PYRO* if you have not heard about it just yet as it is spreading slowly in comparison to those in America.

I miss her everyday it took me two months to finally sit down and watch this because I particularly feel guilty she texted me may 20th and usually we’d have chats about our mental health and what we we’re struggling with at the time. she told me on may 18th she was sober and barely drank anymore and I told her me too and that I was proud of her and to keep pushing till you can’t anymore. But on may 20th I was in a deep depressive episode I never answered until 4 days too late ik she’s in a better place but I’ll never stop thinking about what would be different if I had I responded within two days. she was the second friend I had lost within a year to drugs and shortly later I lost another so please stay safe y’all ik it gets hard to keep going sometimes I’ve been there and that’s why she and I became friends because our pain and mental health were very similar but your loved ones love you and want you alive to be able to see it get better. After she passed I got sober for her, everyday I push to stay sober for her. Thank you for your kind words all through middle school and all through our school time together and after you’ll never know how much that meant to me during that time I’m sorry our friendship didn’t start till after we graduated Rest In peace my friend I’m sorry your time was cut short but I enjoyed and appreciated your company and friendship more than you’ll ever know but I’ll tell you when I see you again I love you girl till we meet again my dear friend💕💕

My deepest condolences. I understand your tears of sorrow because the light that illuminated everything is no longer there. I know she's sorry for what she did, because she's never stopped being with you. A person very close to me died of an overdose of heroin and methamphetamine. I think about him a lot. One day, taking a walk in the mountain area where I live, I found a magical place. Not because of his appearance, but because when I saw him, I felt an incredible peace and, suddenly, I felt him there, with me. I could hear his voice, like the whisper of a gentle breeze in spring. I haven't been much to the place where he's buried because, for me, it was a place of death, not of good memories of him. Eventually I moved, I came here and I found that place that breathes peace and where I can feel him. I cry when the breeze brings me his voice, his contagious laughter... But they are tears of joy.

Dillweed? Maybe, I guess. Powerless? Not at all. Every worthwhile change in the world started with one person. I'm sure there's plenty of instances when that one person was a dillweed. Ignore what you think are limitations. Grab something that matters to you and run with it. You'll achieve, or stumble into, a victory before you know it. Before I got the autopsy I called every Monday and Friday to see if the autopsy had came I had to put pressure to them to where they knew my name wen I call. I needed to know what was the cause and within two months I received the autopsy and we were very devastating. I am a strong person / mother but I break down to when I'm weak I tried to comfort my other 4 kids I try to hide my pain from them and show them my strength it's hard but with everybody that love us and care for us praying for us I can feel the prayers because it's making me stronger little bit day by day. I always encourage my kids to pray more and pray about it and pray for themselves and look on RU-vid for grief and anger programs everyday or every other day to help us and another good thing we all can do when we grieving is watch funny comedy on TV drink something warm take your medicine if you take medicine and most of all don't stop praying we will never get over it but we can all get through it in time🙏💪✍💋❣💜

It's been 6 years and I still haven't told my sons story. It's complicated, which makes it harder. But I am getting there. I have been binge watching all of these story's. My love and heart goes out to all the families ❤🙏🫂 I fear for my 7 year old granddaughter future looks like. I push and push as much info as I can on social media but until it happens to them, it falls in deaf ears 😢 Getting people to share information is like pulling teeth. I do not understand.. makes me so so angry 😢

I am so sorry......so young and so tragic. There is not 1 child who takes a fentynal pill thinking wow I could die....this drug from hell is taking so many from this world.....what makes me angry is I haven't heard the white house say how generations and even older people are dying from this poison. I have lost 4 loved ones to fentynal.

Heart breaking.... My heart goes out to the mother and her family and her boyfriend. What he's going through. I can't imagine. My heart breaks for everyone involve.... Everytime I watch these I think about how my mother could of been the one sitting there talking about my death. She found ne half dead. Hurts knowing what I put her through. Hurts even more thinking of the damage I would of done to her if I didn't make it. I would never ever in a million years want to put my mom through that kind of pain.... I'm glad I stopped when I did because I definitely would be dead right now with this fentanyl stuff being the main drug in every kind of drug. Its scary....

These videos always break my heart, the loved ones left behind suffer so much and their lives will never be the same again 💔 I think Valerie’s mom is incredibly strong to not only tell her daughters story, but to share how the boyfriend is struggling with his own recovery AND losing someone he deeply loved and cared about. It would be easy to hate him and put the blame on him, but he is also a victim. I’m glad she keeps in touch with him and that they acknowledged him on the headstone of Valerie’s grave. They obviously meant a lot to each other. It’s so incredibly sad how many stories there are like this. I wish high schools would start Narcan drives. Every high school student should learn about fentanyl, the signs of a drug overdose, and how to use Narcan. The schools could handout Narcan kits for free. Educated teenagers become educated adults. It’s a bandaid solution to a massive hemorrhaging wound, but at least it could help save lives in the meantime. If these kids learned about it all in high school, maybe the outcome could have been different 🥺 Sending strength to anyone who has been destroyed by this drug.

I am curious as to why the paramedics didn’t administer Narcan on site, before she went to the hospital? Sorry for your loss.
@TexasPictures
@TexasPictures Год назад
Naloxone is the active ingredient in Narcan and is also available in many generics as a nasal spray. In fact, the brand name Kloxxado delivers a higher dose of naloxone than Narcan (Kloxxado-8mg per dose, Narcan-4mg per dose). Naloxone can reverse an opioid overdose if administered quickly enough. Some areas have Naloxone available in the brand name Narcan or generic versions available for free. It is important to recognize that Naloxone is the drug, Narcan is just a brand name. Whenever someone uses the word "Narcan" in place of "naloxone", they're devaluing all the other equally effective brand options and promoting a specific pharmaceutical company.
