Jaimie Polsz I can agree with that. Like I said. Whatever her reason for not reviewing it...IT WAS SMART! LOL. I saw all the reviews, bought it anyway and actually like it. With Jackies knowledge and expertise of being an ACTUAL FREELANCE MAKEUP ARTIST I think she maybe could have shed some light and maybe share tips on how to use it if she liked it. I believe her input could have made a world of difference but I also believe...If you don't have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all so it could have been she didn't want to add to the negativity.

I’m a very out there girl when it come to makeup. My typical eyeliner is always colored and I wear colorful cut creases just to go to school LOLOL so this collection is right up my alley. Some people like wearable everyday makeup and that’s okay. Different strokes for different folks.

Karina Waldron I believe Rihanna was going for a holiday collection. Kind of like a party collection. I definitely think of glitter when I think of Galaxy. 😉🌌 Also, Too Faced came out with their Glitter Bomb palette and Urban Decay put out their Moondust palette and nobody complained about all the glitter as they’re specialty palettes. That’s what Rihanna was going for. Maybe she should’ve explained it better? Hmmm? 🤔😀

But from a consumers perspective and my personal opinion I just find the glitter in ever single product a little too much. I love the package and the concept I just don't find the collection too wearable. Just my opinion.
I love the glitter but is not a favorite for people who wear contact lenses. Use to have to throw away contacts because glitter would be all over and then impossible to put back contacts.. ugh
I feel this pain honestly. Most of the time I can’t put any sort of glitter shadow on my eyelid or inner corner without my contacts getting an “eyeshadow film” over them.
The prickling effect (or tingling as you put it) is from the larger size pearls in the formula. The only way to achieve the high pearl, glitter effect is with a larger size pearl and you have to compromise the feel on the lips. It is completely safe, just a tad uncomfortable.
I love how your reviews are honest, and not too harsh at the same time. A lot of people try to like the brand just because it's by Rihanna, but some of the products aren't amazing. This was an honest, real review, which is great.

To Jackie and everyone that might have trouble with glitters and shades applied with fingers, try using the old school sponge tip applicators. They're really good at getting in those tight places, picking up pigment, plus they're cheap. I'm no guru or expert but it's worked for my friends and I.

I agree this line was too extra for me as well, def not wearable in everyday life. Her foundations are great, but just like you, I have dry skin and hopes she comes out with a dewy finish!!
Iyda Michael I also have severely dry skin and I love the foundation you just have to have a great skincare and moisturizer idk if you tried it but if you haven't you def should just MOISTURIZER lol
I have dry skin too-if you pair her foundation with the nyx make it dewy finish it looks great. They always have sales on that particular product and it makes all the difference in the world :)
Iyda Michael I was at Sephora last week, they were out of my color of Fenty😢 but the sales associate did tell me that they were told that Fenty will be dropping a non Matte liquid foundation but who knows when

This is how I feel about Fenty Beauty. Every makeup brand launches products that some people love, some people don't. Just like fashion. It could be a hit or a miss. You can still like Rihanna, while being honest about the products. Honesty is what helps makeup companies brainstorm for their next drop. Rihanna has that IT girl vibe. She's doing great in her music career, her fashion career, and alot people like her personality. So people almost expect perfection for her makeup career. Which is why I think everyone is always looking forward to what she's putting out next. This causes some people to think its overhyped. But people are just excited to see Rihanna in the makeup game, and they root for her when she comes out with something bomb. Her makeup should be judged like every other company. It shouldn't be harshly critiqued because she's Rihanna, and you don't like her. There shouldn't be very high expectations(That not even other makeup companies meet) just because she's Rihanna. Neither should reviews be faked just because you like her. Everything Rihanna puts out is not going to be a holygrail, that's not the case with any makeup company. Especially when its new. I like Rihannas approach to makeup, having a different vision. Hopefully she'll learn with time in the makeup game, how to mix her world with the makeup world almost perfectly. Cause Im loving that Fenty puma!

The palette is so expensive in my opinion for all glitter shimmer shades that you'd have to use another palette with 😪 and it's not even that glittery. If I'm gonna pay 60$ I need it to be glitter as fuck 😂
It literal says in the ad on the website that it's an accessory palette meant to be use with OTHER palettes. If, people read the website ad before purchasing they'd know what to expect

I think Rihanna just wanted to stand out and be a little more original than all the other beauty brands who come out with all the same fall/marron/orange pallets and I think that's cool. I agree tho you cannot wear these shadows everyday and there are no mattes but that's the point there are already 274783 matte palettes
I agree...i have 15 palettes with many nude shades but i would love something like this because i could try and mix it up instead of doing the same neutral look all the time.
