Thank you for these insights. I can get caught up with the Fenty hype and have enjoyed some products over the years. Secondly I also have olive skin so I understand the struggles. What makes me more complex is that I’m medium dark complexion plus yellow golden sometimes neutral olive undertones . I do love Fenty’s range but Pat mcgrath and Lisa Eldridge also have excellent ranges but Danessa myricks has quite a few olive options. What’s your best foundation match? Have you found one?

Thanks for sharing!! The struggle is real! Best foundation match...thats a hard one. I usually still have to cocktail my foundations, just bc I can hope 1-2 shades depending on the season. I had an allergic reaction sadly to the Pat McGrath foundation, but LM15 was my shade. My most spot on match in this current season has been Cle De Pea Radiant Natural in BF50 Tan Buff. Is there any in that line that could be a shade match for you? Also About Face M2 (though if I put on too much, it gets more green, so I have to use a lighter layer), Lisa Eldridge shade 19 / 20.5 (summer), Chantecaille future gel skin foundation in Shear. How about you?

Definitely overhyped…. I decided not to buy this foundation as it would be to oily and slippy for me after watching many reviews. I hope you feel better soon!

I totally agree! I think it might be best for normal or dry skin, but not for my aging, oily skin. Also, maybe for younger beauties with little to no skin aging? Just my thoughts.
