This video is provided to show some visual examples of the types of problems that could continue to affect Big Bend Ranch if steps to control feral burros are not taken. The video contains excerpts from a piece produced in the 1980's by the China Lake Weapons Center in California to educate the public to the impacts of feral burros at that site. Although the video was produced some years ago, the facts presented regarding burro impacts accurately reflect the current concerns of Texas Parks and Wildlife resource experts regarding burro impacts at Big Bend Ranch State Park.

I think they smoked all the Burros by now. This video seriously screams late 1970's early 1980's. They probably smoked them all by the early 1980's.

Not quite, burros still populate America's desert in ever increasing numbers.

They should not kill them. Joseph Yaroch knew someone who worked there and Lisa Partyka-Sarette and Oscar Sarette were in Saudi Arabia and have a conflict of interest trying to trash my mental stability reputation.

I know this video is dated but with problems like that couldnt the govt let farmers domesticate as many as they want? (If possible) I guess this is the reprocussions of globalization.

The main problem is that trapping and transporting the burros out of the area is exceedingly difficult because of how utterly remote the region is, compounded by how massive stretches of territory would need to be covered. It's a logistical nightmare, with significant risk to human life and would be extremely expensive to boot.

Birth control is the most humane way..............

Try injecting birth control in every female burro over a massive area in a way that's not expensive and guarantees safety for the people who would be going out and doing it.
