I've been getting a lot of responses in regards to the gore in this particular episode, which admittedly is excessive compared to other episodes.I'm going to put a gore warning in the title. Thanks for the feedback!

actually I think I can kinda see a bit of the storyline. you know how huata is albino and Hinto is the opposite. (I cant quite remember what is is called, its melanism?)which is probable the enemy of the white lynx, and its what she meant by corrupted. and why Anemy went to hunt the deer, is maybe that it reminds her of Huata, and wants to see it suffer, as if its Huata; aswell as making Huata feel hurt. soooo, now Malilda's history. she remembered she was in a come and preds chasing her. some types of preds bring their prey they had killed into their den, so that's why she was in a cave, also she felt stronger then but lost her memory. I guess that she had been killed, eaten, and somehow she regenerated (????) but looses her power a bit and looses her memory.the preds find out what she can do, so chase her maybe thinking she can be the key to having no more hunger. im guessing that she would be in some further eps. now BOOM think about dis

I don't think neither Hauta nor Malilda are to blame for the pack feasting on her. Hauta was doing her job in protecting Malilda but Malilda was not comfortable with a meat eating wolf tracking her every move. It was no ones fault. I love the art style you used for Malilda's background story! Your art is getting better and better and I love everything. I really hope Hauta opens up to her mate so he understands her more and doesn't become a demon she's been dreaming about. Awesome job!

Well, I never liked that deer anyway, or the lynx. They are both ruude. And see? Anemy's pups aren't dead! (yet)

I really didn't like Malida

I found something something interesting about the names of the characters in this animated series. While I was looking at Native American names to name my new deer OC, I came across the meanings of the names of the characters in this animated series! Anemy = "Superior". This might explain why Anemy is so bossy and demanding because her own name describes her as "superior". Huata = "Basket Carrier", in Miwok it means "Carrying seeds in a basket; to carry seeds", and it might explain why she has that big leaf around her neck to carry seeds in it. Makes a lot of sense. Hinto = "Blue" I didn't find Malilida, but I did find Malila, which means in Miwok "Fast salmon swimming up a rippling stream; salmon going fast up a rippling stream" and I also found the name Malia, which in Zuni means "Bitter;bitter or sea of bitterness".

It's Malida's fault for kicking Huata off.

HOLY SHIT THAT GORE. People usually don't pull it off but DAMN. THAT SOME NICE GORE. HOLY SHIT. MY EYES. Alright. To my review... Spoilers btw... ;P Malida totally got what was coming to her, I mean, that was totally rude of her. Huata was trying to protect you don't kick her ass off a cliff for that! Anemy needs her ass served on a silver platter for this. How is she not dead yet? oh my god. Malida got her karma for being a jerk, and Anemy has been a jerk this entire time. This is such crap man XD And next time I'll listen to the gore warning, seriously, most of the time people don't mean THAT much gore... o3o But yeah... anyone else agree? I thought Huata snapped and went insane after eating her friend, her face in the end was terrifying. I thought she was going to hunt Anemy down for that... I hope she does...

Anemy sounds different in this one (I know it's the same voice actress) no longer bratty and winy but now cold, confident and determined to make Huata crack (also if Huata is infact pregnant that fall could have done damage to the pups and with everything that has happened she's under A LOT of stress and I fear she will miscarry)

This episode was well done, I have enjoyed the build up to this moment from the last three episodes Anemys plotting has payed off and has made a dilemma that huata must conquer( not to spoil for those who have not finished watching).I'm excited to see Huata's character from this point forwards. I still don't like Huata but I am excited to watch her character as she grows. Excellent work, looking forwards to the next installment.

The gore wasn't as bad as i thought

Ok I have a theory : when she had blood (more specifically albino blood )on her face near her eyes she saw the grass and tree's etc. I think the blood may have momentarily healed her blindness. Do u agree? Like or comment if u do or tell me why don't think so and share theory's thanks ~

It's been ages since ive rewatched the show, still good as I remembered it! But I'm seeing people hate Malilida? She was scared of Huata because she was a wolf, deers are constantly hunted by wolves, so it's like a murderer was talking to you, doesn't matter if said murderer was being friendly, you'd still be scared that at any time they could kill you- that's how Malilida really felt- especially because of her past. She kicked Huata off so that she could *lose* her, not kill her. If I was Mal, I'd do the same. But at the same time, I think I'd make a more smart attempt (the scent of angry-blondie / her being on the loose for example). On another note, Malilida dying in this episode, I think was unneeded. I know it's to show lost* of people close to you, Typher for example(rip little guy, still cant get over him rip) ect, and most importantly showing satan- i mean anemy becoming more cruel and eventually insane (spoilers lol), but it was a lost opportunity! Ghost-cat (lmao) made a note that having a herbivore like them was unheard of, and Malilida showing her past (the cave for example) would have been very interesting, and could have had an interesting bond/story with Huata, maybe becoming her apprentice and then leaving to protect the cause- like the fox did with Ghost-kitty(maybe all of them could reunite* again- that'd be a cool scene). But yea, Malilida being used for a better story device was a missed opportunity in this case, especially since we might not see another herbivore like herself again, especially with the lack of episodes. I feel like the deer use to be a "bear lucid" she didn't fear it but at the same time pointed out the bear could eat non-meat products for months. Plus she "woke up in a cave " bears when doing hibernation will find places to sleep. And noted she felt stronger before deer form. It's a thought but we may never find out if the creator doesn't come back

Wow! That was really amazing girl! I am excited for the next script of the next episode! I noticed you got better in animating which is a huge improvement! I noticed a few things that I think led to Malilda's death: 1. Huata set off the traps and if she didnt do that, it would have prevented Anemy from coming in to attack Malilda. 2. Malilda kicked Huata out of fear that she is going to eat her. and 3. Deer are very cautious and therefore, Malilda feared Huata and other predators, even Vishuni. Also, I am surprised no one has guessed what is wrong with Ash! If I was able to figure it out, then our viewers should too! Haha! XD

Hello! sorry for my bad English (I'm Italian)you were really good compliments !! I found out tonight "Feral Pride" and I have watched all the episodes below !!! I fell in love! You have created a beautiful story good and still good !!!

This was amazing even with the Gore you keep the episodes real and it is hard to find people willing to make so much detail in an episode. And the ending was amazing and creepy, it leaves you wondering what is going to happen next and what she must be feeling right now. Having to choose between what she think is right and what she is an an animal. Eating her friend and someone she was to protect must have bin a really really hard thing for her to do.

Omg that ending!!!! And I was just starting to like Mielda, oh well.

Anemy knew that was Huata's friend. I bet she was following her with the albino. Guys, you should really stop hating on Anemy, the after might read the comments and feel bad. Yes, it was sad... then I still don't get mad. That's just Anemy's personality. I held my breath when the pack killed her.... I wonder why Huata ate so much. Also, if you can't see lots of gore then... I don't know.

I love the mother wolf. It makes me so sad that she got stuck with Aneme.

To be honest I came into this series out of boredom and curiosity. I wasn't expecting to be interested on what is to come. I can't say I'm a huge fan but lol to be honest I think I'm a fan in denial xD point is I'm enjoying this series and I shall do some redrawing of the art myself. I know I can do a pretty good job on that. I'm looking forward to the next episode. :)

You did really well in create that creepy atmosphere at the end, I think that was excellently done. Also, that pup had a nick or some kind of injury in its ear, I'm really curious about that... I have a few theories, like maybe they were attacked when Anemy was away (although why would a predator leave with only a nick?) or maybe one of the pups did it? Or it could have been Anemy, knowing how she is as a mother

My sister and I used to play a game where we scroll through the video time line(whatever it's called) and see what strange stuff the characters say. I did this to feral pride, and I got: Anemy: A rare and spectacular delicacy *scrolls back Ash: My daughter. XD don't eat Huata!

OH DEER GOD THANKS FOR THAT GORE WARNING BUT TOO BAD ITS TO LATE AHHH GOD.

A lot of people in the comments are blaming Malilda for her own death, and saying that she should have listened to Huata's advice about staying close to her. I don't blame Huata, nor Malilda for what happened. Huata was just following Vishunei's orders, and protected Malilda to the best of her ability until she returned. However, Malilda just wasn't having any of it. Remember, Malilda is a prey animal, and prey animals are constantly on the lookout for predators. Her instincts told her to stay as far away from Huata as possible, because she was wary of a predator tracking her every move. It's understandable why Malilda reacted the way she did, even though Huata clearly had no intention of harming her whatsoever. I also theorize that Malilda was a powerful Lucid before (despite being a herbivore), but due to her amnesia, she had forgotten her abilities and purpose for existing. Perhaps the predators did something to Malilda that caused her amnesia? She did mention that immediately after leaving the cave, she was pursued by them, and they were calling her, so maybe they were attempting to lure her back? Anemy is also really cruel for rubbing Huata's failure to protect Malilda in her face. And to think that she started hunting Malilda only because she looked like Huata...Anemy really hates her sister, and seems to genuinely enjoy tormenting her. It's also very tragic seeing Huata so traumatized from this ordeal.
