Wow that is lovely (both sight and sound). It’s been very nicely engineered - a very clean build. I’m impressed that the fergie drivetrain can handle the extra power.
That tractor is built to last unlike modern tractor.There is a reason tractor pulls prefer old tractors. Scarily enough, the gearbox on that model can easily hold up to 1500hp
The big thing would be getting the traction. Until there is sufficient grip than the 28” tires can provide, then there is no strain on the gear train. Fergieman
When you have an old Perkins and an old Ferguson, I expect you just add 150 HP to the old fergys 24 HP and save a few ponys for a long life. A mans grandchildren could be showing off to thier grandchildren what Great,great grandad did with a 70 year old tractor back in the 2020's. And they will marvel at how they came from such ignorant people yet turned out so refined. How long does that tiny tank of deisle last ?
