Feria de Sevilla also known as the April Fair is held in Seville, Spain. Feria de Sevilla usually starts about two weeks after Easter Holy Week, also known as Feria de Abril. This Feria de Sevilla 2024 video is taken on Friday 19th April from 9:15pm onwards.
Feria de Sevilla is the festival where people dress up with traditional flamenco dress, dance, eat, and have fun together. It lasts for a whole week and starts at midnight on a Saturday. People gather in tents called casetas to enjoy music, dance, and tasty Spanish snacks. It's a time for families and friends to celebrate and enjoy themselves.
During the Feria de Sevilla, the fairgrounds and a big area by the Guadalquivir River are filled with lots of decorated tents called Casetas. These tents are set up temporarily for the fair. They belong to important families, friend groups, clubs, and even political groups from Seville.
The Feria de Sevilla generally starts from mid-day until very early morning, people gather in the streets and inside these tents to have fun. They dance, drink different kinds of alcohol like Sherry and manzanilla, eat small dishes called tapas, and enjoy themselves. The fair also has an amusement park with games and roller coasters to enjoy.
