Not many cars can make a Ferrari 275 GTB look big, but a tiny Abarth Simca is one of those machines. At the 78th Goodwood Members' Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport in the Ronnie Hoare Trophy, the Abarth and Ferrari went into battle, joined by the stunning SLR-bodied Morgan Plus Four.

The little red car being referred to as a Simca is actually an Abarth Simca 2000, or 2Mila. It is an Italian manufactured car, built at the Abarth factory. It uses a Simca 1000 chassis and some Simca running gear. That little car won the 1964 Italian Hillclimb championship beating Porsche 904's and Ferrari GTO.

Hilarious how illiterates believe simply because it is a furr-are-E or a lamborghini, it must be so very fast. Older furr-are-E's drive like trucks. Enzo was never at the leading edge of engine, chassis, or braking design. Fact is, older furr-are-E's were very poorly built. New furr-are-E's are shockingly unreliable. Though so it is, given the huge disparity in income. There is an endless supply of guys with more money than intelligence. Willing to buy junk.

Why you say "furr-are-e" sarcastically? And take a look at the early 1.5 or 2.0 litre V12s; absolute jewels, at the cutting edge of engine design. Yes, Enzo was never equally as nuch interested in chassis refinement, it is true

@@64Alvis Your definition of "leading edge" is different than mine. I adhere to the real meaning of those words. Also, takes more than HP to win. As furr-are-E discovered year after year. Race after race.
