This is an incredible project developed by a guy somewhere in the world, It is an exact replica and working scale model of a Ferrari 312PB. Full engine and all, even a gearbox.
Absolutely stunning, took somewhat of 15 years to build and 20,000 hours..

In 2023, I had a memory of watching this on top gear when I was much younger. I'm so glad that I could find it again on RU-vid! What an amazing piece of art! This man is a genius!

Blew my mind to see that the Tachometer works too! Ferrari should purchase this for the museum. A couple million would go a long way to see what else this man is capable of!

I remember seeing this car at the NAMES show in 2009. The entire auditorium stopped what they were doing when he fired the car up. I talked with the gentleman about the car and asked him what it cost to build something like that and he told me "Three marriages". haha

I recall seeing this many years ago - it would be interesting to know when the film was made. The model is a no less than a tremendous work of art and deserves a suitable home. I wonder if its creator has really undertaken (even finished) a second example. Ferrari really should reward him in some way for this extraordinary achievement. Edit: Wikipedia has an article on the project which began in 1978. BBC film shown first in 1998 (which is when I saw it originally.)

Phreaktor At one time the Ferrari was full scale. One day he had seen a Ferrari in a parking lot. He waited for the owner to return to his car. When the owner arrived, he approached him. Then started up a conversation, long story short. They got along very well, and the owner. Gave him permission to hand wash his Ferrari. When he arrived at the owners estate. To wash the Ferrari, he grabbed all of the supplies. Filled the wash bucket with water. Then he added the soap. With a half a box of laundry starch. He used this mixture for each and every. Area of the car, after the car was throughly cleaned. He then rested a while. He then picked up all of his cleaning supplies. Then returned to his car then grabbed an empty box. Then he returned to the Ferrari with the box. And the rest is history.
