Almost rear ended a car when he was forcing himself into the other lane, flooring it in traffic. I would have stopped this test drive long before it got to the crash.
The passenger was telling the driver to just go straight through the left turn only lanes repeatedly and to accelerate several times over the speed limit on busy country roads. This was just an accident waiting to happen.
At Mille Miglia in 2016, some of these imbeciles crashed their Ferrari with an upcoming car while trying to enter a gas station. Aftermath Video is on youtube. It was a Ferrari tribute rallye during Mille Miglia.
For those of you who don't speak Italian. After the crush, the passenger (the dealer?), didn't ask the young driver if he was ok. He said that he warned him to go slow and kept cursing and swearing.
Terrible reaction times. Slow hands. Poor counter steering. What makes people who are not trained on a racetrack think that they can handle a car? This guy couldn't even handle a ford focus.
gearsofwar07 You don't have to be rich to be a skilled driver lol. There's plenty of guys at track days that can handle a car just fine that earned where they were and weren't trained by a race program.
gearsofwar07 If you had a reasonably well paying jobin in an industrialized country, you would 100% be able to afford 3 or 4 track days minimum per year in your daily driver (could be a Miata for example). So go finish college or do something else for your career/income situation and stop whining.
Oversteer because too much power at the wrong time too soon on the exit of the corner.Then too much correction and too late also too much lift off at the wrong time etc etc.Power oversteer, lift off oversteer, over correction oversteer. Lucky it wasn't a wet road. Ferrari should be front engine V12 and no one sitting in the back anyway.

Well it is the dealer's fault really for letting him drive the thing in town like a loon with the traction control off. Watched him before the crash and a crap driver: doesn't pay attention, barely looks before changing lanes. Just shows money does not buy brains or talent.

+TrafficDE the dealer has an insurance anyways for any damage that is not covered of the insurance from the driver. so... no need to care a hole lot about shoes or driving skills..

Utopic Unicorn Yes, but one person isn't going to speed the inflation that much. While I get your point, having slight inflation has been a trend for a while in EU. I don't mean I did agree with EU what comes to many it's decisions, but it's the best we can have now. The European Central Bank still has managed to keep the bussiness cycles in bay, so far.
Driver has no feeling for the car... even if you are driving the car for the first time. He could have firstly saved it by not throttling in the corner, second time was when the car got in the slide, everything was still fine, he could easily just brake and the car would have stopped sideways on the road, but he decided to steer, but he did not know where his wheels are, because he just has no feeling for the car... so he steered far too late... :/
stfu when you oversteer with every car you try instantly to correct it's so difficult in a narrow road, if he tried to brake he will lock and go in the car on the other side, when you go in a turn with full throttle you have a lot of chance to finish in the wall (in a narrow road)
You could predict this outcome from ten seconds in when you see where his left hand is on the wheel. One of the most instantly telling signs that someone doesn't know wtf they are doing.
Noob driver... doesn't know what is happening doesn't know what to do when the car oversteers and does exactly the wrong thing, he let go of the throttle and over corrected. Luckily it was just a California.
LOL anybody can drive fast in a straight line. It's when you start turning that you can separate the noobs from the real drivers. This guy has NO clue. Look at his hands on the steering wheel, especially in turns. When you know how to properly race cars you never handle the wheel as he does. You also don't floor the accelerator abruptly in a turn. Everything needs to be smooth when handling a high HP car, especially with street or at best semi-racing tires. That's what a good driver does, not this guy.
I think the rule here is simple. DO NOT speed up when you're in the middle of turning. High performance cars are really sensitive. If you have watched Formula 1 before, you do realize none of them accelerates when turning. Not until their car is completely straighten.
This ain’t true literally f1 cars are accelerating at turns your the one who hasn’t watched racing because every racing fan knows that to hit a good turn you have to know how much throttle your putting usually around 50% this technique is what race drivers use when countering oversteer and understeer literally the guy letting go off the throttle made it worse because all of the weight shifted when it was suppose to what he should have done was put some throttle on turn the car the opposite way which he did but he forgot the throttle part also he’s obviously not experience so why did he even do that

Yes I agree -Which is a bit rich, given that he was encouraging the driver (eg the bit where he tells the driver to get in the right hand only lane and he cuts up the lorry etc)-
The car is not for sale there. They let you drive exotic ferraris or maseratis for 15-30 mins for some bucks over there in Maranello. I’ve been on such a ride.

Why didn’t the dealer tell him to stop and takeover after repeatedly telling him to slow down?? What was he thinking, this driver was an absolutely reckless villain. He should’ve paid for the damage and the salesman should be fired.
he got the car at a place called "pit stop" in maranello italy. it cost about 200 euros to drive it around for 20 mins. the funny thing is that before you can drive it you have to put your signature on a lovely piece of paper that states "if you break it, you pay it". HAHAHA what a douche, this car is so easy to drive.
@@WertzOne pretty sure a deposit is taken before driving so driver loses deposits of maybe 5k-10k depending on the cost of the car and insurance covers the rest. If the driver cannot cover the deposit then he will have to file for bankruptcy but usually deposit taken before hand so that was one expensive test drive if you will
@@MrMaxer13 they tell you to drive like this explicitly. The instructor tells you what to do, to a certain point of course. You should at least be able to drive a car when hiring a car with that much HP.

I did a drive there a few years ago in a yellow 458 Italia. Great experience, but very dangerous roads and you're totally unprepared in an environment you don't know at all. This guy's holiday was over before he knew it. Thousands and thousands of dollars costs even for this cheaper Ferrari.
First off if you can't correct that oversteer, you don't deserve a ferrari, second what the fucks up with the part of the seat that was flapping around the entire drive? That's a $200k car and it's already falling apart. For 200k, even the fucking stickers should last at least 20 years.

That looked like a kid in the front seat. No respect for anyone who would endanger a child like that. It could have been worse. I don't think the guy in the back was even buckled in.
I know how to drive my 4-cylinder Toyota Camry fast. When I want to go sport mode, I always brake when entering a turn, and gradually bring it up to full throttle when leaving the turn. For sharper turns, I start braking before entering the turn and floor it Immediately after leaving the turn. Also I am skilled with passing people who just will not use the left lane for passing on the highway.
It's a convertible that weighs quite a bit more in the back than the front. The driver had to familiarize himself with the behavior of the car in a wide area, for drifting. If he had, he would have convinced himself, that this car is not good for drifting + loaded with a person in the back seat !!!
