If you have money, this car is an investment. If you really have a lot of money, you don't think about its value... Maybe you randomly remember you have it and if the car is lucky, you take it for a ride haha
In reality that car is a monster to drive. Has an extremely heavy clutch. You need to be a professional to to be able to drive it and handle it especially in the snow. Drifting it on a snowing mountain road is near impossible which I think is why you see the car for short short episodes. They should of chose a Lamborghini over a Ferrari. 1 because of AWD and 2 because Lamborghini uses a Bull
+Travis Craig you do realize that the F40's direct predecessor, the 288GTO was designed and built to be a Group B rally car - rally is in the F40's DNA. So actually, this video is correctly and appropriately titled - and very entertaining, to those that are in the know.
this car is a bit famous, in a interviw the engineer who built the F40 shows the photo of this car, so yes actually is so happy so see this car loved and used.
Reminds me of driving in a snowstorm going slightly faster than the other cars when all of a suddenI'm passed by a 512BB. I'll never forget the sight of those wide tires spitting out chunks of snow from between the treads and the admiration for a great driver.
+OneCreativeNickName How so? Doesn't brushing before bed solve that? I never have food or crud on my teeth when I wake up. My tounge is dry and normally smells a little. Brushing before you eat is like wiping before you shit.
+BurnThePope0514 rather have a taste of clean minty fresh breath when I eat rather than morning breath. Chew some gum - good to go. Food is food and shit is shit. Bad analogy.
+OneCreativeNickName Nothings worse in the world then drinking flavored liquids such as coffee or tea or eating foods after brushing your teeth properly. It tastes like a chemical mint flavored food/drink. Normally people Eat first then brush OR Brush and then wait too eat.
+Matthew Williams yeah, way too many cuts. The whole point should be the ridiculousness of drifting an iconic, expensive and now classic F40 in the snow... up a mountain. The excitement should be in long holds of off speed shots, enabling the viewer to grimace, cringe and ultimately admire the balls to do such a thing to such a car. But you don't get that at all not even once. Director missed the mark entirely and thus at the end you're left with "what was the point?"
+Michael Leahy he would probably be thankful that the cars being used like it was meant to be and not kept in someones private garage collecting dust. why would you go out of your way to design such a good car if it was not going to be used as intended.
andre savaiinaea It's crazy how many people on this thread are pissed off that you'd use a Ferrari to drive up a snowy mountain but I think most car enthusiasts could think of a ton of other ways as awesome as this idea to show off how awesome this car is.
I was thinking: How they chose to use this masterpiece by Ferrari to drive fast on snow is fricking insane! Until I realized this is what the F40 was originally made for.
The F40 was intended to be the ''best car ever'', a track oriented road legal supercar. You're probably thinking of the 288 GTO, which was made for group B, but that still wasn't a rally car, it was made for Circuit Group B.
The real dream of an Italian guy, she's not born for a museum, she is soo aggressive and performant on tracks but here on the snow seems to be really a snow cat... Santa's sleigh that's all children's dream (me and adult as well I think🤩)....
Nice relaxing cold can of Red Bull is just what you need to settle the nerves after thrashing one of the rarest loveliest relics from the 90's the snow.... (!?)
Nice car and premise, but I feel that the editing is too chaotic, and definitely would have enjoyed the video more if there were less cuts of the car in motion. Either way, thanks for making this.
Love it, all of it from the layout of packing, convenient store run to the final treck to BC. A few years ago I asked J. Taylor the Lead for Set Dec. "Although scripts are written, talent's been cast and locations scouted how do ya set the tone?" Taylor replied, "You have to envision just how it'll play out. I have to fill the set and/or scene w/ items of accent which really emphasize it all.". Great work Redbull, Ottimo lavoro!
What kind of guy puts a roof rack on a ferrari, then rallies his $800,000 classic car, eats ramen for dinner, drinks red bull before going to bed, and uses road flares as flashlights?
