Yes, but the pit stop times increased significantly from 2017 onwards due to larger and heavier wheels /tyres. It makes 1.97 even more impressive result!
@panda 48; Guess I'm a professional then, I manage that in a 'mere' 30 minutes.. though that are 5 bolts/screws or whatever those are called in English, and that makes for 10 if you count them first being taken off, and then put back on.. without the putting back on part I think I can manage around 23.04 minutes :D
MyRealName Probably took 10 years worth of employees time to design the whole mechanism though. Car factories can attach a 5-bolt wheel in 15 seconds, they just have a gun with 5 heads..

When I saw this when watching the race I was like wow, the last time they broke into the 1.9s was in 2016 with the smaller tyres, good work from the pit crew!
I was at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, you can have a try on a pit stop, they give you everything, even a jacket, you do it in 3 people, the best time random people managed was more than 10 seconds, with like a 2009 tyre.

@@AdonisGaming93 well to be honest, Ocon is allowed to unlap himself, but only when he does not go in a fight for that overtake. In no circumstances a backmarker has the right to battle with the car that lapped them. Its in the rules, you only unlap yourself when it is safe to do so and you dont interfere with the race leaders pace
