Percorso: partenza dal centro di Crone (BS), sul lago d'Idro (quota 360 m). 15 minuti di facile avvicinamento per stradine e sentiero nel bosco. La ferrata Crench presenta una buona roccia, poche staffe e numerosi appoggi naturali, che la rendono arrampicabile. Ma dopo un forte acquazzone la roccia è fradicia e molto scivolosa, siamo costretti a tirare di cavo e cercare supporti orizzontali per i piedi. Faticosamente raggiungiamo Punta Pelata (632 m), e con ripido sentiero Cima Crench (779 m). Scendiamo al passo Cocca d’Idro (682 m), proseguiamo per Sella di Preonde (692 m). Alla Gola di Menghé (968 m) deviamo per Monte Croce di Perlè (1.031 m), con bella vista sul lago d'Idro. Da lì scendiamo al Sentiero Attrezzato delle Cascate d'Idro, che percorriamo in discesa, con vista sulle 4 cascate formate dal Torrente Valle Neco.
Distanza: 9,9 km. Dislivello: 1.040 m, da 360 m a 1.031 m
Livello: sentiero EEA, classificato C con un paio di passaggi D, la ferrata Crench diventa piuttosto scivolosa e quindi pericolosa con roccia bagnata (sconsigliato!). Per il percorso di rientro scelto, considerare lunghezza e dislivello
Equipaggiamento: casco, guanti da arrampicata, longe di sosta, scarpe da avvicinamento con climbing zone, imbrago e kit ferrata
Periodo: fine Marzo

Route: departure from the center of Crone (BS), on Lake Idro (altitude 360 m). 15 minutes of easy access along narrow roads and a path in the woods. The Crench via ferrata has good rock, few brackets and numerous natural supports, which make it climbable. But after a heavy downpour the rock is soaked and very slippery, we are forced to pull the cable and look for horizontal supports for our feet. With difficulty we reach Punta Pelata (632 m), and with a steep path Cima Crench (779 m). We descend to the Cocca d'Idro pass (682 m), continue towards Sella di Preonde (692 m). At the Menghé Gorge (968 m) we detour to Monte Croce di Perlè (1,031 m), with a beautiful view of Lake Idro. From there we go down to the Aided Path of the Idro Waterfalls, which we follow downhill, with a view of the 4 waterfalls formed by the Valle Neco Torrent.

Level: EEA path, classified C with a couple of D passages, the Crench via ferrata becomes quite slippery and therefore dangerous with wet rock (not recommended!). For the chosen return route, consider length and difference in altitude
