This power station uses a lithuim battery. it delivers 600w of power but only has a 16 amp hour battery from what we have been told. So what do we use it for and is it useful?
Input to the unit is 12-28v and a maximum of 5 amps.
In use each night we ran 2 laptops for about 6 hours and the power station usually finished up with 20+ percent remaining.

The Aldi king returns...lol. At 16 amp I think the 24amp pack from kings is more useful at half the price. I can run my frisge from and charge my laptop using a 12v charger. Although i do like the display on it. Its nice to know what the battery is doing. And I also got the solar panel from Aldi a little while ago. It did a pretty good job on my SA trip.

An important point you overlooked: the USB chargers are all PD/QC. The can add a decent top up to my phone, tablet and cameras (those that support PD) in a few minutes and I likely would not need spare camera batteries.

Ah I was under the impression that all USB Cs are QC? Didn't know the As were too on this.

@@WesternAustraliaNowAndThen According to the labels, the USB-A ports are PD. I think the two standards are now compatible. My devices don't seem to care. The cables in KMart (Australia) need to be examined closely, most cables with USB-C connectors only support USB 2.0. They are really terrible for transferring photos from my high resolution cameras.
