Thanks so much. Been working on my system for hours too 😠 decided to increase pressure from 1 bar to 1.3 . Pressure gauge went off the chart then settled @ 1.5 I now have heating (happy dance)

Pressure gauge rose too quickly, your expansion vessel has failed. Do not pressurise above 1.5 bar. Call an engineer.

what if the water boiler was hot? can I do this if boiler is working or do I need to turn it off? it's around 1.1 Edit: tried to do it but I sinned it many times and nothing happened, no sound or change in gauge
