In this video I shall discuss in brief about Fertility Indicators namely Total Fertility Rate (TFR), Gross Reproduction Rate(GRR) and Net Reproduction Rate(NRR).
The concept behind these needs to be understand.
TFR is the total no of children borne to a couple.
GRR is total no of girl children borne to a woman in her reproductive life span .
NRR is the total no of girl children borne to a woman taking into account the current mortality pattern.

If NRR is less than 1 then reproductive performane of pop is said to be below replacement leve..explain this plz?

NRR means total number of girl child a woman would have and how many would survive. If nrr is less than 1 this means number of girls are less which means number of future women would be also less thus reducing the population due to lack of births from the missing woman.
