Awesome. Tnx for sharing very interesting method. Too funny I wasn’t even looking for gardening or homesteading videos n just started my journey in learning to bake n mill my own fresh flour. So I have yeast lol I have used ground organic egg shells n banana skins to boost my tomatoes, etc
Many are making Fermented Teas for fertilizer. It would be similar to this, but doesn't deplete the soil. Things like kitchen scraps, Comfrey, Clover, Weeds that are not with seeds, etc. Ferment in water outside in the large pails. There is an Old Japenese (I think) method which is similar.
I have fast acting yeast packets in the freezer... I aspire to bake... anyway, they have been in their 2 years. Can I use them for this method in the garden? Can we use it on peppers and eggplant as well as the tomatoes? Same family.... how about pumpkins or squash/cucs? Thank you from the Berkshires, W. Massachusetts. Best wishes for a wonderful summer! I did see another gentlemen use this method too. Nice! Peace Haha... 3:35 and you answered my question RE the type of yeast. haha. And 10:00 answered the second. Wonderful! Tums are good for fast acting calcium too! Peace
Shouldn't have that one string of Solar panels so close the the plants, plants will create shade on the Solar panels which is bad for them. Especially after the yeast addition and they grow tall...
Thanks for making the video, I have seen some YT videos where they mention this solution is not good for Tomato plants, can anyone confirm if this has any adverse affect?
Please watch my newest video. My tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and zucchini plants are thriving. COME and VISIT MY GARDEN ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2Ynvrhebctg.html
I have not tried yeast, but someone told me to put Ajinomoto (msg) diluted in some water. It really helped my potted plants grow quickly. But I will try the yeast solution soon
On another video, the man said 1 Tbles. Of yeast to 2 Tbles. Of sugar which is what I’m doing. Then dilute it into a five gal. Bucket. You say 1 to 1 he said 1 to 2 Tablespoons.
This formula is great for almost everything EXCEPT TOMATOES! Tomatoe plant will produce lots of nice green leaves but much less fruit!! If you want to experiment with this; be sure to test only a few plants at a time!
