I'm a plumber and will never end up wrapping a car in my life, yet I still sat through this video as if I was going to go wrap a car tomorrow. ugh.

My family owns a graphic design and sign company and we occasionally wrap cars for market promos. The fingering issue was something I never could resolve until now. This guy really is the true master in his craft.

I started wrapping cars around 2005 - and back then EVERYONE would hold their techniques, material, costs and such close to their chests (not sharing and keeping as much as they could a secret) - nice to see how the industry has evolved into sharing how it's done.

This dude totally changed my ceram wrap game. My bowls won't know what hit them.

I've been using triangles to make my bed since I was 5 years old.

All the good youtubers are using cold pre-stretch. I've never wrapped a car, but I've spent many hours watching videos in preparation for my first wrap soon.

I actually did the first wrap on my own car (clear bra) and it came out nicely. The techniques used here work. After seeing this video, it reaffirms my thoughts that the process can be simple and I even came up with much of the same technique on my own just through common sense!

I watched this video on May 23rd 2023 and by the end of the day I already opened up my own wrapping company.

Wow, I have no plans to wrap anything but you obviously have logged a lot of time perfecting your process. It seems as natural to you as breathing is for us mere mortals. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have two wrapped cars and two wrapped boats and I know all of us non-wrappers watching this are thinking ‘I could totally do that’. It’s what I think every time I see this stuff done. However the extent of the catastrophe that would ensue as soon as any of us took the backing paper off and attempted even his first move laying out the wrap on the hood is not to be underestimated. Mad skills. Total respect. Mmmkay..

Dude, I just clicked on this video to see what car wrapping was all about. I had NO IDEA I would learn some of the most amazing techniques known to man! And the way you guys share information with each other as though you're ALL on the same team, is just phenomenal! It's like you WANT your own competition to know your "secrets", because in the end, it's about becoming better wrappers and promoting the industry! Brilliant strategy! I'll be back for more!

he's doing this at the wrap masters for a reason, I found it very interesting, he obviously knows his stuff. there are so many techniques for wrapping and you can never stop learning, wrapping is an art and if your not passionate about it, it will swallow you up.

Very interesting. I use some of the same methods when installing headliners or seat upholstery in classic vehicles. Often they need some relief cuts, pulling in certain directions based on wrinkles etc. Great video!

Trust me I sat through this whole video as if I am ever going to wrap a car...it wouldn't happen but this guy's teaching skills is off the top...it draws you in...👌

This is very helpful I am a perfectionist and have wrapped the interior pieces of my Evo and have had issues that will help get around some of the problems I have ran into with over streatching and basically getting ahead of my self . I believe I am ready to start wrapping my car with triangle meathod . Inspiration for sure thank you stay stress free it's crucial

17:55 He's basically explaining the Elastic Deformation of the material. He did a great job of showing and explaining how materials work. Plastic Deformation is the point when the material can not go back to its original form in which he explained was 10%.

Very similar concept to working with tint films with the four quadrant...of course, vinyl seems much easier to handle as you can pull & stretch! Thank you for this!

I wont wrap a car but I have TONS of things I want to add vinyl to and this was one of the BEST vidoes Ive seen -- every tip applies to any project big or small. I didnt catch the name of the "hook" thingy... WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!

I just started looking into wrapping a car and how it works yours was the first video I watched then I looked at a few other peoples videos a 1/4 of the way through watching someone wrap a gtr bumper it drove me crazy watching how much they pulled it up to replace it with yet more wrinkles and using the heat gun constantly all I could think about was the triangle method and 45* angle I'm glad I seen yours first I definitely would have been turned off wrapping otherwise thank you thank you thank you

I wrapped the hood of my 2002 Black F-150 about a year before I sold it. The paint on the good was not looking so good due to the clear coat milking up for some reason. I wrapped the hood with gloss black vinyl one afternoon. I told a few people but not many knew it was wrapped. This was my first wrap and I did a pretty good job of it. When I went to sell the truck I told the new owner about the wrap before he bought the truck. He liked it and bought the truck. 3 years later it still looks good from what the new owner says. The wrap cost me about 45 bucks and about 2 hours of time. If that hood wasnt wrapped I know the new owner would of tried to talk me down much more than he tried.

He found a way to do the work more efficiently w/o cutting corners and maintaining quality, he cut the resources in half and can do it in 1/3 of the time. He explains a lot of details, I think it would be helpful to have a video showing the old way and comparing with the new way to really show the wins. But it's really interesting what he's done . I've never wrapped a car but he makes it look very easy.

At my education we had to use plotter foil, to wrap cars. To learn it the hard way. And just watching Wrapper foil in action is soooo satisfying to me.
