Guadalajara May Festival
During the month of May, a variety of cultural activities will enliven the spaces of Jalisco.
Jalisco, one of the states with the greatest tradition as it is the birthplace of tequila and mariachi, offers the May Cultural Festival a magnificent range of music, dance, plastic art, film and gastronomy shows.
This festival was created in 1998 as a space dedicated to recreation and cultural exchange between various countries around the world and this event takes place in the best-known venues in the city of Guadalajara such as the famous Degollado Theater and the Cabañas Cultural Institute; as well as in various areas of municipalities such as Zapopan and Tlaquepaque.
