Amazing how professional Ricky is. Noticed he sound checked the monitors before he started so that everyone could hear instead of throwing a temper tantrum during the song.
Exactly Ricky is an awesome guy to work with I done F-O-H Sound for one of the festivals and I would definitely do it again the Monitor guy needs to make sure his monitor is up good thing Ricky could tell that his monitor was not turned up enough a true professional musician.
Oh!!!!----how I like me some Ricky Skaggs and the others. Only had RU-vid a few weeks----hope I don t wear m y phone out. So happy when I come across ☺ you banjo pickers. I,m 80+, I ve been around for while. Grew up on this kind of music. My brother and dad played the "fiddle" or violin, oldest sis played it some also.

@@81crowe Russ! Didn’t even see this till just now! Pretty cool Darrin started with the band that early on! You guys go on tour again, should definitely bring back “I hope you’ve learned”! ✌🏼
When was this video recorded. Info says 2018. So is that right? I m listening 9/8/2031. Anyway this music never gets old. Generation nowadays think grandma,s, off her meds listening too Bluegrass genre!! 🙄 Don,t care, it's better than their "blankadeedy blank noise", I say!!!
This was recorded some time after I had left the band, which was around the end of May in 1997. Most people don’t remember my 3 1/2 year stint with Skaggs, but I played mostly pedal steel, but played dobro on Skaggs’ bluegrass shows. I left the band because Skaggs was in the process of going all bluegrass, and I wanted to do something where I could continue to play steel, even though I played pretty good dobro and was raised playing bluegrass when I was younger. I sure miss those days. Those were some great memories, and I was truly blessed to get to work with these guys.
