My 32 year old daughter passed away suddenly on the 26th of August. All the things I have always love about Christmas feel so very far away. There will be no tree, or celebration at my house this year. But after seeing how beautiful the tree house looked I decided to put up a few lights in my livingroom. It's not much but it really did help a little. I appreciate you so much for sharing your life with us.

Steve, you’re the most wholesome person on this platform. Even through the tough times you’re having, you find a way to brighten your viewers days with this video. My thoughts are with you and your family during these hard times. Just know that we all appreciate every minute of content you give us, no matter what crazy neighbor and you are doing. Watch your step when step two’s are involved.

Don't sell yourself short, your videos are always a pleasure to watch. Also, take care of yourself though, you mental and physical health are way more important than us being entertained. We will be here always.

The first Christmas dealing with loss was a struggle for me. I imagine it's never easy for anyone going through it. Be kind to yourself. It can be a whirlwind of friends and family, but it's okay to take time to be by yourself if you need it. You're good people. I hope 2023 brings you everything you need.

Crazy Neighbor seems like just about the best friend anybody could hope for. It's always a treat when he shows up. It would be really cool if you finished in the bottom floor of the tree house so you could have a complete tiny home with a kitchen and bathroom. More videos in/about the tree house are always welcome. Also, I wanted to say I've been catching up on some of your oldest videos in the last few weeks, including the boondocking documentary you made, and I can really see how you have refined your skills both as a film maker and a camper over the years.

WOW, Steve. The lights are gorgeous. It is amazing how just one strand of light can change the way a place looks and feels, it's so awesome. The tree house looks amazing and cozy, I can see why you would rather stay in the tree house. I wouldn't mind staying there either. You are simply amazing, I appreciate everything you do for your channel, and all your hard work shows in each video. I understand completely how you have to be in the right mindset or it will show, it's true every bit of what you said is so true. So when you need to take a week or so to gather your thoughts then just do it, don't worry about us we all love you and understand completely. I wish I could give you a great big hug right now. Hey it's awesome you don't have to go to the laundromat to wash clothes, I remember how excited I was when I finally got a washer and dryer, I felt like it was another world I know I'm weird but it's true. Steve, may I suggest...you have thousands of people out here who absolutely love you and anything you share is enjoyed...I think we all love that tree house, I think my favorite is the crookedy door lol makes me think of Willie Wonka's factory or Alice in Wonderland, just so unique...anyway, there is lots of interest in tiny homes, campers, tree houses, and so forth. I would love watching how your home is progressing, seeing how the tree house grows, and so forth. Maybe over time create other fun and even wacky builds around your place. Just share you, we luvs you. Watching you helps the rest of us escape for a time from our own struggles, and even when you share your struggles, it helps us connect even more. You think your videos aren't entertaining when you're just hanging out, meanwhile all your fans are checking the time stamp to see how much time is left in the video because we don't want it to end yet! For some reason you have the ability to make us all feel like your friends, I've never seen anyone else like you on RU-vid...let's just call you the RU-vid unicorn because you are such a rare and kindred spirit. That kinship you foster means we are also sensitive to your feelings and grieve with you, and although we obviously are not going through exactly what you are going through, we do share in your grief and keep you in your hearts. I'm not in the Christmas spirit this year too... My mother past away from cancer on the morning of last Christmas... This period of the year is particuly difficult... It was so quick, 3 weeks since we had the diagnosis and her last moments... So dont apologize, grieving takes time. Thanks Steve for your video, it brighten up my day. Take care buddy.
