The 13th Festival of Pacific Arts and Culture is well underway, with celebrations of the best of Pacific arts to be held over ten days in Honolulu, Hawai'! 🌺

Im From Puerto Rico, but I'm very passionate about Hawai and its people and traditions . I am so happy that traditions are much alive.We have our roots in Hawaiian soil. Many Puertorican left our island to get a better life in Hawaii . 124 years ago to Maui. May no other country ever take away what you decide to preserve. Que VIVA HAWAI!! SU GENTE Y TRADICIONES.

It's so beautiful to see this festival take place. Many decades ago foreign nations divided our pacific islander peoples. So, it's beautiful to watch all of us come together again. It shows how much more we have in relation to our pacific islander brothers and sisters than with the foreign nations that came to divide us.

Was there a Taiwan group too? They were beautiful too. It was lovely to see all our friends and family from the Pacific. It made me cry happy tears. Ua nani a pau loa ta ho'oulu lahui. The Kuki Airani put their Maohi cousins to shame with their explosive opening number🔥🔥🔥 Meitaki Mataa‼️ The drumming, fastest and swings🤌🏾 As much as I love Ori Tahiti as a former dancer, I love Kuki drumming, and Ura is harder technique wise than Hura. Well done🙏🏾
