In the opening episode of The Pacific Way - FestPAC13 edition, our hosts Hettie Sem from New Caledonia and Amelia Rigsby from Fiji set the scene from the venue of this year’s 13th Festival Pacific Arts and Culture 2024, in Honolulu, Hawai'i.
We bring you highlights of the 40th Council of Pacific Arts and Culture CPAC and the 7th Cultural Ministers Meeting. We travel to Kualoa Regional Park, the venue of the Wa’a Ceremony and relive the Wehena (Opening Ceremony) from the Stan Sherrif Center at the University of Hawai’i.
🌺 The 13th Festival of Pacific Arts and Culture (FestPAC13) was hosted by Hawai’i from 6 - 16 June 2024. The 13th FestPAC was a significant event, highlighting the importance of safeguarding the unique cultural identities of the Pacific while promoting unity and mutual respect among its diverse cultures.
