Very interesting lecture, but regarding the measurement of the BPD what i know and read so far is that we measure from outer to inner borders of the proximal and distal parietal bones respectively
fantastic explanation mam, looks like sitting in classroom and our professor is giving lecture.thnanku mam.mam kindly post vedios on probe placement will helps a lot
My wife is 13th week pregant and done NTscan. The report impression is minimal discrepancy is seen in size of the orbit. Left is smaller than right. Both orbits are seen. Will it a problem at this stage or it will grow?
The measurement of the BPD is incorrect in this slide show. It is not to AIUM / ACOG standards. The BPD measurement should be made from OUTER edge to INNER edge. NOT OUTER TO OUTER. Please check your resources before providing the community incorrect information.
In other countries not the US, they measure outer to outer. In the US definitely outer to inner-agree. Also it’s important to note to those doing mfm or obstetrics ultrasounds… in the real world you can not always obtain perfect measurements as presented here..Especially in the amout of time we are given to perform the exams, not to mention body habitus and fetal lies.. This is why the actual exam to measure the fetus is called Estimated Fetal Weight. 😅 we all try our absolute best and we want the most accurate estimations, but we are not perfect and neither are our little patients all time 😊 have fun and keep learning.
Hi excellente video 👌👌 where could I read this information? Do u have the bibliography or the sources? Any paper? And Thanks so much again for the effort. :)
Great lecture and description along with the diagrams and images. very useful tips and hints about all four major fetal biometry. Thank you and keep it up by making more videos about fetal well-being in future...best Saba .
